1/2 Fixed-Limit Hold'em (4 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: Texas Grabem 1.9 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is BB with J♣, 9♦
2 folds, SB raises, Hero calls.

Flop: (4.00 SB) 9♣, K♦, 7♠ (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (3.00 BB) 2♠ (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

River: (5.00 BB) K♠ (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB folds.

Final Pot: 6.00 BB

Raise/fold turn against unknown? If so, then do we bet/fold again on the river assuming the card is a non-K.

Hi TerrorBlade,

the board is pretty dry so he can fold a lot hands if you raise. I anyway like to raise somewhere as he won't go to showdown if he has nothing too.
So this makes me raise the turn.
But I don't see it as a big mistake to play it as you did to prevent folding the best hand if he is a LAG or so who likes to 3-bet his draws (which we can't know as he is unknown).

Against wich hands would you raise the turn? I don't see a lot of worse hands calling here and better hands won't fold. Hands with 6 outs like AT can fold, but is that worth it in this small pot?

sure a passive line is not bad and I don't think that it's a big different between it but I see him calling a few A-highs down as a flushdraw is available also. Additionally some smaller pairs.
