if you flat pre then easy call against squeeze shove

This, but my sizing preflop with shallow effective stacks is always at most 5250 here. I think less than 5000 is also reasonable.

Yes, I also make it at least 2x of original raise size even IP. Because this way (with smaller size) they have a really good odds to call us and we loose value. Plus on Pokerstars FE preflop is close to extinction . And I´m not sure we can induce original openraiser to 4bet-push wider.

about sizing @chenny why?

It doesn't increase or decrease FE against initial raiser. Generally I make it this size because most opponents realise that they're still in a push or fold situation vs 6000 or 5250 or 4799 raise size as they'll be OOP in a bloated pot, so if they have a good enough hand for that they may as well push preflop anyway.

Plus, it allows us to sometimes 3bet/fold bluffs against this size, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, it allows us to get away from cold 4bet shoves cheaper.
