Well, in the long run, if villian calling no matter what, you should be winning (huge) with AA by raising or going allin. Never go for the luck in poker, and ex play every suited :spade: hand, because it is your favourite - think logic.

With KK it can be ok to fold or call. Specially if you play Zoom, it can be clever to fold - but try see how aggresive villians are.

Dont think about the result, think about how you played the hand - if you lose on AA<QQ preflop allin, you played best (and then in the long run you should get profit)

Hey blackgeologist

Don't worry about bad beats. It happens in poker and there is nothing you can do about it. To be honest I never ever fold AA or KK pre flop.

Best regards

Pre-flop in Cash Games there are only 3 situations on which you fold KK+:
Never, Never and Never.

If you are playing SnGs or especially Double-or-Nothing tournaments, there may be valid times to fold the monsters, but they are very, very rare.

Think of it this way:
I have a coin that lands heads 81% of the time.
I offer to let you call "heads" or "tails"
Would you take the bet for $1 ?
What about for $100 ?
How about 100 times for $1000 each?

Poker is a game for the long run.
AA will win in the long run.
You harm your chances of winning in the long run by folding it pre-flop.

Peace,

What hands do you go all in with?

Maybe you're not playing a high enough limit, thus no one respects your raises.
