Pre-Flop: (150) Q♦ A♦ dealt to Hero (MP1)

Should I have folded to the reraise? Reads on them that they pot betted with a nut flush earlier, so it was likely they weren't bluffing. Could have been on a draw though, or pair and a draw ?(

I would call and then Bet/Fold the turn, if he raises you again on the turn it's likely he has the straight, the turn bet would be close to pot commiting you and most players probably realize this so if they raise again then they probably have TPTK beat.

With your reads on him it's likely if he raises you again he has a straight, he would most likely just call a turn bet with a hand like KQ, or a flush draw.

Why would you fold here ? He called raise pref so KJ/J8 is unlikly holding. Didn't reraiise so i doubt he got kings or aces. What he may have is KQ or jacks so with jacks he got OESD and with KQ he got gutshot.
Against above hands, imo you should just push it all the way, if he wants to put his tournament life on a oest/gutshot, be it.
Worst holding would be AQs so he have nutflush draw in which case you are looking at best for a chop.

Considering that, i would push it, if he will hit his draw, well that's poker.

Hi all,

I only raise to 3-3.5BB preflop, but whatever.

We shouldn't call his raise on the flop because we are out of position, and there are a ton of cards that scare us or kill our action from hands like: QJ, KQ and JJ. And calling leaves us with so little on the turn..

So the choices are shove or fold. I don't like fold, because most people semibluff worse hands on this board.. so I just ship it in on the flop and hope to hold.
