70 players survived Day 2 of WSOPE Main Event but sadly only 2 are down under boys. David Yan (Kiwi) 187,200 and Aaron Lim 100,300.
So C'mon down under, bring home the bacon.
Unfortunately no survivors after Day 4 of WSOPE Main event. David Yan was the last to bust sneaking in for a min cash of €20,250.
75 players ponied up the buy in for the Super High Roller and after 6 levels 62 players remain.
With late registration continuing for another 6 levels tomorrow and incomplete chip counts, I will update this event when more details come to light.

I am planning my 1st live tourney at the Tasmanian Poker Champs in June, I think. I don't know what the action is like at Wrest Point (Hobart), but the poker area there is very small.
There are a lot of pub leagues running and some of these can be quite willing, but I've yet to play one. It is just too easy for me to login and play online in the comfort of my own home rather than sit around a noisy pub with a lot of half pissed fish. ♦

I have been to the casino once but there was no poker on and it was a saturday night as well! The place was pretty dead though.
I don't fancy the pub leagues much for the same reasons as you mentioned, plus I only really play cash. I thought playing at the casino might be a good idea for meeting some of the locals of Tasmania. I am a bit out of the way as we are staying in dodges ferry at the moment. Do you know it? I will report back once I have sampled the live scene and let you know how I got on.

Yeah. The live scene pretty much sucks here. I'm mainly a SnG/MTT player and we have a grand total of 2 tourneys a year. The Tasmanian Poker Champs ($270 BI) at Wrest Point in June and the Three Diamond Challenge ($550 BI) at Launceston Country Club in November.
If you do find a juicy cash game though, make sure you let me know. ♠_biggrin:
