CO: $64.91 (64.9 bb)
Hero (BTN): $100 (100 bb)
SB: $112.95 (113 bb)
BB: $152.38 (152.4 bb) villain from previous hand (hint:overstabs v MB)

MP: $134.49 (134.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A 5
3 folds, Hero raises to $2, SB folds, BB calls $1

Flop: ($4.50) 9 3 9 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero checks

Turn: ($4.50) 9 (2 players)
BB bets $2.50, Hero calls $2.50

River: ($9.50) 4 (2 players)
BB bets $5, Hero calls $5

STD all the way?
I don't think I should bet A5 against anybody. If I had As5 it still would be ok to check, right?
Vs these sizings I think it should be an easy call w any Ax.

Your thoughts?

I would bet A:s5:d on the Flop, mostly for board coverage reasons. If we never ever bet AX on the Flop, then we could never rep the Turn Ace right?

On low paired Flops with Turned Aces, the Turn Ace would overwhelmingly favour the caller's range cos he would always c/c AX and we would never bet AX.

River: I think this is a fold as this is probably close to the bot of our range. I guess we may sometimes check F call T w a hand like KQ but A5 is still pretty low. You can call down some stronger AX hands, like I would never fold AK here.
