Poker Stars $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

BTN: $2.08
SB: $2.17
BB: $2.09
UTG: $2.78
MP: $3.55
Hero (CO): $2.96

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is CO with 8♦ A♣
UTG calls $0.02, 1 fold, Hero raises to $0.10, BTN calls $0.10, 2 folds, UTG calls $0.08

A8o would be an open here for me, so I raise over the limper.

Flop: ($0.33) K♣ T♦ 9♠ (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero checks, BTN checks

No pair, no draw, no bet.

Turn: ($0.33) 6♦ (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $0.24, BTN calls $0.24, UTG folds

Decide to bluff at it after the BTN checks the flop and UTG checks turn, planning to bluff river as well.

River: ($0.81) A♦ (2 players)
Hero bets $0.58, BTN calls $0.58

Hit a pair on the river, should bet smaller - maybe 1/2 pot and fold to a raise ?

Spoiler

Final Pot: $1.97
BTN shows Qs Ah (a pair of Aces - King+Queen kicker)
Hero shows 8d Ac (a pair of Aces)
BTN wins $1.90
(Rake: $0.07)
Absolute snap call from villian :)

Thoughts ?

Hi pyure,

Do you have player stats when bluffing?

Betting the river seems okay since BTN has not shown any aggression. Agree with your 1/2 pot suggestion.

wp imo.
River is obviously a great card to value bet bcs we can induce many hero calls from Tx and/ot 9x hands. (The reason is A being a great barrel card for bluffs).

I wouldn't over think NL2 zoom. Most will call you with any part of the board (draws, low pairs). Therefore, I wouldn't bother bluffing the turn, I don't think you'd get much better to fold. As played though, betting river and folding to raise is the best option. There is a lot of value from other pairs villain might have.

This is just my opinion though :)
