Didn't come round to post much recently. Mainly cause I been doing some bad bad poker things. Played some HU (not that bad at first glance but I made 2 bad moves that costed...) and a lot of SH (moderately successful, mainly tho it seems I still got lots to learn). So I'll try follow the sample hand evaluation even more, reread the articles, make some notes by them and prolly make a few vids of my play. Just to see what that would do.

NL10 on Titan is starting to feel like mission impossible. I hit AK with an A and the other guy makes his kicker. I hit Ax with 2 pair and the other guy hits his better kicker. I stick AA in and the other guy gets a set. It was just so damn hard to win up till now. My bankroll is at 170$. I'll play some more on NL10 through today and tomorrow and see where it takes me. Should have a nice rake back coming. I don't think I'll be dropping down to NL5. I don't see a real point in doing that. If my BR goes down to 100$ I'll just try another site or something.
Titan NL10 is not a real picture of what I know about poker and what I've learned so far. It's not easy playing as much as I want to these days but I try and try damn hard. I want to make something out of this. Funny thing is every time I get reraised I hold the better hand yet I still lose! That's hard to take.
Played on Tower some more, since I got a new bonus. Things there are a bit nicer but not by a whole lot. NL30 there is something totally different to the coal mines of Titan NL10. It's just not as stressful for some reason. I can't wait for the upswing to start on Titan. I really can't. Good thing I'm leaving tomorrow for a couple of days. Another little break should do me good.

Well didn't play for 2 days now or so. Been away relaxing on the country side in a wineyard doing some light work and medium drinking. It was an all in all very fun weekend. Managed to relax quite a bit (remember that no matter how hard u work u should take time to have some fun as well!!) and put some more energy in my poker batteries.
Well all to little use really. I mean I won a few nice hands but I got outflopped a couple of times, sucked out a couple of times or more (two hands stick out: I hit my set on the flop against a very loose aggressive guy, there was a shorstack in it as well, I check my hand on a dry board, the shorter shoves, the loose guy raises to half my stack and I of course shove. He had TPTKs and got his color on the turn and river...... about an hour ealier I stick my AQo with trips on the board all in only for some guy to call with AJ and hitting his J on the river..... FUUUUNNN!!!!). So despite getting 34+$ of RB earlier I'm still down an extra 7$ or so! INSANE!!!! But yeah ... fresh full of energy I'm gonna take another shower now, watch some tellie and hit the bed. Tomorrow I got at it again!

OK I gotta make another entry for 2 wonderful hands and wonderful players. First off the really awesome guy who managed to call first some guys 3bet of 13BB and then my 4bet to 45BB to hit his tens on the flop and take out my pocket AA, congrats dude! Odds are really something special to that guy.
And of course the incredibly solid playing and awesomly perfoming dude who managed to call my TPGK flop (had KJs floped a J) with complete and utter blank air to get a possible gutshot flushdraw turn and promptly calls my 15BB into 21BB bet only to stupidly bet 26BB on the river with his GS hitting... sorry dude I'll shove to make it worth ur while next time!
Well at least I had a good laugh ... and it's NL10 anyways ... and it should stoop too ... soon .... .... ... ... ... ...... I hope ...................
Been a while now since I last posted. Things didn't change much in the past week. Couldn't win, tried to play hard but all in all it did not work out for me on NL SH. Tried myself at a few SnGs (5+.5$ or 5+1$) as well but I'm more or less break even on those on Titan. Couldn't win coinflips, KK don't work either so when I'll win my better hands I expect to make more of a profit on those. Titan BR: 147$
Ongame wasn't a whole lot better either. Like on Titan I was rivered a lot and ppl got a lot of their kickers when I was holding TPTK (at least I managed to keep control of the pots and not lose too much in these situations). On the other hand I've played a few 10+1$ and I'm actually up 77$ on these. All in all those I'm down on Ongame as well, I atm hold a BR of 895$.
Right now I'm trying to figure out if my fear of ppl sucking out on me is making me win less money in the "normal" situations. I've also spent a lot of time reading the sample hands and visited a few coachings. This week I'll try rewatch every NL SH and SnG video and I'll also be taking some notes. The idea is to make a sort of a handbook that I can gloss over before each session I play. Maybe that will help break this annoying and overly long negative period. you definitely have the right attitude. Just a hint: When I recognize something in my game that doesn't work I write it down on a piece of paper and put it on the wall right next to the monitor. That way I read it every time I play and remind myself to work on certain things. Maybe that can work for you as well.

So yeah been a bit busy, RL been taking over recently quite a lot. Whenever I had time I just sat down to play some SnGs. And yeah I get beat a lot. I started too tightly at first (specially with 5-6 left) and I was calling with the wrong hand 2-3 times. But still whenever I did play the situations properly I got sucked out lol. Couldn't win a coinflip no matter what side I was on and even when I was massive favourite I lost. Pretty awful I have to say. Seems poker just isn't with me these days. This is prolly the 2nd worst period of my poker career so far. Just so hard to go on ... trying to work on my flaws and the things I did wrong but just so hard to go on when I played it the right way and still lost. I think that's what made my play deteriorate recently (check my sample hands on the silver section). Not really sure what to do except go on.

Changes are afoot! Namely I'm changing poker skins on Ongame. Got a really nice deal through another Ongame provider and have decided to take it. Cashed out the funds I had on Tower (1075$) and am now waiting to receive the money on moneybookers.
So I tried to play some more on Titan today but I have to admit... I HATE it there. The fact that I get sucked out on all the time makes it even worse.
I also decided to continue to play SnGs since it's a helluva lot softer on my nerves.
My ROI on Ongame is -5% (played 11$ turbos and normals). The turbos are moderately retarded ... it's pretty simple to get to the bubble but if u don't manage to double up before u get there ur in pretty serius trouble (blind levels change in 3minutes). The normal ones however are a pushover. The only way u don't get in the money is if u get sucked out on or play a really really poor game. So even after I dropped down to 777$ playing Turbo SnGs, I recouped 100$ playing normal ones yesterday (like 7-8 of them) and also finished the 200$ bonus to put my BR at 1075$.
Now with an even better rakeback deal I'm looking at grinding the days away playing SnGs. Gonna boost my BR to 2k$ and then play 22$ SnGs. Depending on how well that goes I'll decide on what kind of poker I'd like to play from there on.
In regards to Titan, I'm not sure what I'll do there. Thing is every time I've had my opponent beat or even crushed recently I still lost the hand and that just isn't cool. The situation didn't improve at all today when I got beat by massive dogs over and over again playing SnGs. I just don't get it how everytime I'm favourite to win ppl got their magic card to send me packing. And OK, there's logical reason for that happening but it's been going on for 2months straight now playing bot NL SH and SnGs (played just about 100 of them). I'd understand losing money if I sucked at playing poker but if u guys saw my game before PS and after well ... u'd prolly laugh ur asses off before and give me some credit now. Oh and I really dislike the Titan software too. Bleeding money to every fish with a GS or a lower pair then mine over and over again just hurts :\
I guess I'll continue to watch the session reviews, join the coachings with questions, making my wee handbook and see where it all takes me. I'm pretty sure I'll be doing really well playing the 11$ SnGs, but as I said before, NL SH is the game that I really really like and I'm sure I'll be tempted by it again.

Switched successfuly, uploaded exactly 1k$ and started work on my 600$ bonus. So far managed to play 80 11$ normal speed SnGs (took a long ass time to do it) and I'm runing very good at 48% ROI (earned 420$ so far) which I guess is awesome. I just hope it goes on this well as long as possible. The opponents are quite bad, most of the losses I did receive was due to suckouts. But I guess that's a standard theme at SnG play.
I feel tho that I am too scared to play some hands in push/fold at the bubble that I should be playing according to ICM. I'm not really sure how to fix this, except through practice, but I'm thinking about using Tribuns technique and post a few stickers around my monitors with stuff that I should be doing. So far SnG play has been very relaxing, tho some of the rivers really sucked hard. I hope to boost my bankroll bigtime and to play 22$ SnGs successfuly very soon. The switch limit will prolly be 1800$ or a bit more.
Haven't touched Titan much, cept when waiting for the funds to transfer and even then it was painful to play there. Ongame software is just so much more smoother and I love the way I can use one hand for game actions and the other for table selection. So till further notice Titan doesn't exist to me.

Weekend wasn't as good as I hoped it would be. In fact it was quite crap lol. Went down to 1400$ or so and my ROI dropped dramatically as u might imagine. Today tho was quite awesome again. Played about 40 SnGs in total, won about 300$ (still playing one, we on the bubble) but still I had some nasty situations. Then again I won against some awful odds as well. Might as well get used to it I guess. Still tho I faced a set of dueces at least 6 times today and I picked a set with deuces once as well. No relevant but still moderately interesting.
Watched another SnG vid, learned loads! There's just more definition to SnG play. Even if u face donks. U put the chips in the middle and wait to see what'll happen. Do it often enough at the right time and presto: cash. The fact that a pure SnG begginer like me earned over 700$ playing 250 11$ SnGs says a lot about how hard it is to play them. Granted I started when I hit my upward curve but still. I spent time learning them by visiting coachings, watching reviews, looking at the charts while playing, stuff like that. I guess if u want to build ur bankroll in a little less nerve racking way SnG is the game to play. But be warned! U will get sucked out on frequently and u damn well need to know what u are doing before u jump into the wonderful wonderful world of Sit'n'Go's. Otherwise I can see it being pretty painful.
So I just finished that last game I was playing in 3rd spot (was the shortie for a long time anyways so not a bad turnout) and my BR stands at 1722$. Great stuff for less then a weeks work. Cya toward the end of the week!
Been a while since I checked in, still playing SnGs. To this point I was getting hammered by the dealer big time. Whenever I shove the other player gets pretty much every out they can and they hit by the river. Can't win with overpairs, my draws don't hit and let's not even talk about coinflips. All in all my play has been reasonable, tho I am a bit on the tight side. I don't make major mistakes anymore, most of my mistakes come from not shoving marginal hands from middle positions.
I use the ICM manager every day for 45-60min and I try to look at an SnG video every day as well but I've pretty much ran out of the silver ones as well and I can't really access the gold ones anymore. I still consult the charts now and then just to make sure really but overall I feel pretty confident in my SnG knowledge. I've got a lot of reads on some of the regulars as well so overall I'm confident that I'll be upping my 7% ROI pretty soon again (as soon as the dealer starts giving me more love).
Right now I'm playing about 6hrs of SnGs a day, playing 8 at a time. I'm right on schedule for clearing my bonus (600$) I need to clear 2/3 more of the points needed. I guess I'm turning into a proper grinder now and it has it's appeals but also it's drawbacks. My goal is to come as close to a 15% ROI as possible but I'll need some help with that. It's likely that I will make a video of my SnG playing and hopefully someone with way more experience will take a peek and give me a few ideas at what I need to fix still.
So atm my BR stands at 1416$. As long as it's in the green it's not bad, but I want to improve my ROI from 7% to 15% or even over if I'll be able to. Looking back I've made quite a fall eh? Oh well ... here's to climbing back up again!
After things picked up for a few days I reached a ROI of 12% and a BR of almost 2k$ things took a nasty turn again. Dealer was being a twat and things went down to 1450$ atm. To be honest what was happening made doubt myself and as a result I made a few bad plays (shoving 66 from BB into a BU limper and SB raiser, raising AQo middle stage to get stuck on AK, which wouldn't happen if I'd fold, calling too losely after getting ITM...) and my ROI is at 5% now. Was also getting stuck facing way better hands in SB first in vs BB in ICM and I'm not really sure when was the last time I won coinflip from either side. Add to that a lot of suckouts and a handful of bad plays and yeah ... u get to where I am atm. Just lost another coinflip lol (88 vs. AK, went out as 5th again... and lost AQs vs K5s AFTER I made 2 pair on the flop lol and also just in, lost a 3way all in (had 4BBs left) with TT vs 44 and A6 (A on the flop)... I hope this gives u an adequate taste of what I'm dealing with here.)
All in all I need to fix my play. I need to focus harder and not let stuff like this affect me. I'm using Tribun's trick (posting stickers around the monitor) and it helped a few times. Also I've played 3k hands in the ICM today already and I've decided to make playing 3k hands in the ICM my daily ritual. Getting 95%-96% results in it, having issues with the borderline pushes. Still didn't make a video like I said I would but I'm thinking of talking with a few coaches, see if they'd be interested in training me.
Since I transfered my BR from Tower to Eurobet I have played just over 800 SnGs. While I'd like this number to be closer to 1k, I also had a few RL stuff to take care of so I'm not too unhappy about the number. Will try to get it over 900 till the end of the month. Bonus is not yet halfway done tho and that means upping the tempo a bit. I'm also looking into getting a 22" screen since playing 9 SnGs on a 17" is horrible horrible pain and I would advise against doing it. I'm very happy about my reaction to the two recent downswings I had and I have to admit I see more future for me playing SnGs then NL SH, I find it to be WAAAAAAAAY less stressful and more enjoyable and those are two very important things that shouldn't be overlooked. Just had and lost another coinflip lol (AKs vs. 66). It took me 15minutes to write this post up and I was playing 6 tables ... now I got 2 left, shortie on both of them lol. Oh wait, just managed to stick A3o with 11BBs left into the BB and he turned over 55! Woot suckout, 2 pair on the board lol. Maybe It's already turning around ♦

Not terribly happy with the result, but I am reasonably pleased with the way my game has improved. My ROI is in reality at 11% due to my awesome rake back deal (even more becaus the rake is not deducted from the sign-up bonus apparently). So add another 500$ or so to the winings. What lacks now is some dealer love. Opposition is hitting all the cards they want so it's a small miracle that I managed to up my BR from the last downswing. But things will improve and there'll be a load of moneyz made ♦ So all in all, good start, great foundation for improvement and having a lot of fun too ♦
Goals for the next month:
-Learn more and analyse every session
-Play 2k 11$ SnGs (would like to set this at 3k, but I'm not sure when i'm getting my 22" screen)
-ROI of 15%
-Complete the 600$ bonus

I am now certain to become a full time SnG player. It's got a whole lot more money-making potential for me then NL SH and that's the most important aspect of poker. Had a terrible terrible run which was mentioned in the downswing reports section of the forums, over 700$ went away in a few days time. I played some SnGs very badly, but the larger part of this down was dealer hate. I couldn't win no matter what two cards I had in front of me. Knuckled down, rewatched the silver vids, replayed ICM manager over and over again (still not sure which one is better, SnG wizard or ICM manager, wizard is deffo WAY tighter) and just give it all I could to get the most out of my play. Results bore some fruit, my BR is over 1900$ again but my ROI still isn't near what I want it to be. I've had some bad luck still, but thankfully not as much.
To all of you out there wondering what SnG is all about, it's not as much about cards as it is about opportunity and equity. Basically there are situations where u HAVE TO push 72o or T4s or any other cards u'd muck in say a NL SH game. This is VERY relevant when playing SnGs. Don't be scared to push what looks like crap when the situation says it is correct to do so! Stealing from SB with crap is a big part of your SnG life and while this may seem obvius to most pros and vets out there, the starter guys have some trouble grasping that (specially I had, since there's no way in hell u push so "recklessly" until u realize it's total correct to do so). So to anyone wondering about SnGs and trying them out, make sure u understand as much about EQUITY as possible. It's not the golden key to insta-rich but trust u me, understaing equity properly will improve your game by a HUGE amount. And that's what I've tried and am still trying to do 
While the above might seem obvius to some out there, it's usually the simple things that cause problems for me. So it was with this, that I didn't quite realize why certain things needed doing. Now that I do I play a lot more relaxed and hardly ever get upset at all about "bad beats" or suckouts. If it's the correct move, leave it, u did the right thing, move on.
And just a quick review at the goals for the month, I've played about 1/4 of the 2k hands I wanted to do this month so I'm behind, lots of parties to go to and feeling bad the next day that really are eating into my game time. ROI of 15% is still reachable, atm it's at 6% tho so not too happy there. Not entirely sure about the 22$ SnGs, depends on the reviews I'll receive (btw anyone got Chenny8888s email addy?) and how confident I will be feeling. I do however analyse every session and on top of that try to play 3k hands in the ICM managers, but the number is prolly closer to 2k atm. The bonus will be completed and that'll boost my BR nicely too The 22" screen might come in this month, along with a new computer as well! But I've decided to fund this out of poker completely so it'll depend on how I do at the tables a lot. Call it extra motivation
