Poker Stars $25.00 Pot Limit Omaha Hi - 5 players

BB: $26.51 - VPIP: 22, PFR: 8, 3B: 3, AF: 1,7, Hands: 723
UTG: $38.60 - VPIP: 43, PFR: 18, 3B: 16, AF: 2,6, Hands: 249
Hero (CO): $26.57 - VPIP: 21, PFR: 15, 3B: 5, AF: 5,0, Hands: 68739
BTN: $29.71 - VPIP: 65, PFR: 7, 3B: 0, AF: 1,4, Hands: 57
SB: $25.00 - VPIP: 27, PFR: 19, 3B: 3, AF: 4,6, Hands: 809

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is CO with J :club: Q :club: 9  Q
1 fold, Hero raises to $0.85, BTN calls $0.85, 2 folds

Flop: ($2.05) 3  6 :club: J :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets $1.20, BTN calls $1.20

Turn: ($4.45) 9 :spade: (2 players)
Hero bets $3.60, BTN calls $3.60

River: ($11.65) 8  (2 players)
Hero checks, BTN bets $11.15, Hero folds

So I would usually c/r the turn but the guy is really passive. OTR we have to fold, right? He is only repping backdoors and maybe 457 if he is capable of potting the river with that and we are blocking the nuts so I was not so sure....

definetely cbet bigger otf for value

on the river i would probably bet myself for value, as played I'd call, he is repping TQ and you are holding QQ - he would have to call your flop cbet with JQTx which you are blocking heavily.

yeah I would bet otf 1.40 on this board,
as played fold, he seems quite passive.
depends how light he calls river I would decide on bet small or check/fold.

jap flop little bigger,
river i would definitly bet
i dont see so many str8 in his hand. As played..with my blockers and the board i must have a strong read to fold here

how much would you bet otr?
don't you find his AF too passive? or it is always relatvie to vpip? or what figure would be the boarder?
I have the experience that these players don't really bluff even if they would have a decent chance to win with a bet.

because he is passive i would bet! also he is a fish with high vpip.

If u check u give him the chance to check back some one pair hands and weaker 2pair hands. but he will call this hands often enough vs a bet. if u get raised after u bet! u can safety fold because they will not often enough bluff u.

But when u check some will turned their hand into a bluff and some will just check behind (most villian check behind btw).

So in this case it could be that he had beat u. but overall u loose value when u not bet here otr. i would bet something around 7.

edit: its much easier too think about the betsizes and the stack left when u post the hands in bb instead of $ (just a click in the PT HH)

.

the problem with river bet is that i don't think he will call you very often with worse on that board.
c/r river as a bluff looks sexy :P

really? against those players i think u will get a call from worse 2pair. I dont think that a craise vs this type is a good idea. in my mind they valuebet not so thin when they are ip and the river get checked
