Sadly changing location wont help as i will still be bulgarian resident and most importantly my registration on stars.com is bulgarian.. so the same will apply for me... Thanks for the support brate

Pedja, I've heard that Serbia is preparing some regulation too, and it's not clear whose tax will be lower.

Nikolay, don't be so greedy, it's only a 9% reduction in VPPs, so you're gonna have like 40% RB instead of 44%, 0.3% subtracted from the ROI, meh. (Or 64% instead of 70% for continuing SNE, what a big deal.) And there will still be other convenient ways to transfer money.

What I'm fearing more are the global changes to the VIP program in 2015. But at least they've let you know that milestones will remain at all, which is actually a good news.

It's not only that. RB is affected but also now all of his poker income will be recorded by the authorities as well ♦ So he might get a nice tax bill each year as well ♦ In the gray markets that doesn't happen

A good feature of the gambling regulation is that all the tax is indirect, charged only from operators (who then pass part of it on to players by reducing rakeback). Players don't play income tax on gambling winnings in regulated markets, at least it's so in EU countries and Bulgaria (see the 'Non-Taxable Income' paragraph) and ex-Yu countries (iirc) too.

It's different in grey markets. In Belarus, players are taxed quite thoroughly at the rate of 12% (the normal income tax rate) of all their cashouts, with deposits not subtracted Russia, where regulation is in the works, is also not going to free gamblers of the normal 13% income tax, and it might be a long fight for deposits being allowed as deductions.

I can tell you, as a player that has played under Danish regulation, that if you move abroad and notify Stars once you have moved that they will allow you to create a new account on the .com site again and you will keep your .bg account as well.

I heard once you move, you contact them, then they do change of address once you send all the documentation (new house bills, bank and stuff) and you are all set.

So moving to Nis has never been easier brate!!!
