Q9s Turnplay

A very interesting hand -- it just keeps on getting more interesting as it goes.

To start with, in the absence of reads, I would likely fold Q9s to a resteal, but I open 3x so a 3Bet pot is somewhat bigger. But since the rule of thumb is "bluff the top of your folding range" maybe against some players I might 4Bet

We flop TP, with the 3rd best kicker, so definitely call . Raise is overplaying IMO, but there are flush and straight draws to contend with.

OTT we get trips, and now we have enough to raise to get value from overpairs and suited overcards, so I think you should raise enough to get the FDs to think twice about calling.

agree with preflop comments.

i don't like raising the flop. there's an argument for raising the flop for protection against draws and denying his equity with overs, but in the end i just don't think that our hand is strong enough to play for stacks and when he doesn't fold to our raise it gets awkward.
turn is the best card for us, we have pretty much the effective nuts against the opponent's range. shoving is fine, calling down is fine (we are never folding on any river card).

i would shove myself, he definitely won't call only "with hands that have us beat". it's very unlikely that he folds an overpair, you put his draws in a tough spot and get the money in before a potential action killer comes on the river.
the main factor for just calling would be the opponent being very bluff heavy, then the times that he hangs himself should easily compensate for when his hands complete.
