Btn is a maniac BB is a lag
preflop flat btn as we have a history of me raising his limps or min raises and me missing flop and him having some ridiculous two pair or flush he rarely open raises even from btn but this time for 3x
unfortunately this prices in BB
flop I have tpgk bet out for value but am x/r by lag in BB here I think I should have folded or reraised but I only called bad move as I am oop
turn although now have a gutshot as well I dont want to get raised so check his bet sizing makes an unprofitable call so I fold
your thoughts?

If buton is a maniac why don't you let him do the betting for you?You can check the top pair on the flop (one more reason for this is that the flop is dry).Let him do the betting and call down if you don't feel comfortable getting it in with this kind of hand.

Hey guys,

Like helliaspapas mentioned, if the guy is super aggro maniac then there is no need to lead the flop and give him the opportunity to create an ever bigger pot. I would start out by x/c the flop.

Assuming he really is a maniac there is a reasonable chance we should be calling down or even jamming the turn. I'd have to look more closely at his game to confirm this though. Sometimes players are not as maniacal as they appear and simply running good over a small sample.
