Well I like to play it for set value/overpair value here... Don't feel like I need to find myself in a marginal situation by committing myself with TT so early... Stacks are bad for a re-raise tbh.

So you like your flop play, ur fine with it, you don't wonder about it and you don't even let other play into your mind. You also don't like to "commit" yourself with a reraise (wtf, since when 500 chips will commit 1,6k stack?), in simple way you don't want to change anything in your play.

But this forums are for discussion and to talk about hands... I'm open for any comments made about my hands but I feel like I have the justice to say why I did something? I feel like playing this hand slowly preflop is better... if you think otherwise get back at me and tell me why... not just say that I don't wanna work on my game...

And my original question was also about my flop play... not the preflop play but once again I want anyone that takes the time out of his own busy day to comment on my hands that view it as a complete hand so I'm happy hearing views about my preflop play... but again I feel like I wanna play it here for set value/overpair... and yeah putting 1/3 of your stack (1.5/3 of opponents stack) into the middle preflop at this blind level is just asking for a really marginal situation so imo I wanna play this hand on the safe side.

Let's read my post together then, since you didn't understand it apparently (you claim that you've read it). I will add extra notes so you will understand this time.

In simple way, there is almost nothing that can come on the turn that will beat your hand but in exchange he may actualy HIT his hand (lets say he raised with AQ, and turn comes with a Q) which will cause you to win couple chips extra. Betting here will only earn you money if he is total idiot or he did hit set on his own and is slowplaying it (but that would be loose raise pref). You could be for value if flop was ie. AKT or somehting like that, where he could hit anything.

You do not want to play PP vs multiple opponents unless all you do is aim for set (in which case you are making bad call here) and here after small raise there is a call, it is common that u will get extra 1-2 callers, it's even possible to get a raiser behind because two players shown not much strength and exposed to squeeze play.

I'd always bet this flop. Fuck it if he folds, you want to play for stacks with this hand

I coldcall this preflop aswell. Reraising creates an awkward spot postflop
@ puciek: I only raise QQ+ or JJ+ against certain opponents. Reraising sucks bigtime.. because you will always be playing a big pot. I dont always want to play a big pot with TT

edit: had a second look, I would even coldcall JJ here. Every raise creates the lovely stack=pot effect.

The hand itself: I coldcall this hand preflop. We are in position, and if we reraise to isolate, we are only left with a potsize bet postflop, but more importantly, we fold out all the hands we get value against (77-99), and we isolate our hand against hands that are better. By calling preflop with position, we get to play our TT in position, and we can win or lose a small pot (0-1 overcard), and choose when we want to play a big pot (set). If we call just to try hit our set, then you're right it's a bad call, but with position we don't have to play purely like that. My advice applies also to JJ.

Flop I usually check behind. Board's way too dry, and I will check here just to hope he catches one of his overcard "outs" on the turn. But I would always bet the turn, even if it's a "horrible" card like a 10, because we have to try get our money in by the river.

like the hand was played, i prefer giving a free card on the turn, possibly he got AK and didnt Cbetting there, so give a freecard, wouldn´t cause you so much trouble
