I've been playing microstakes for the best part of a month now (0.05/0.10 Cents), and have had many troubles. I've had an interest in poker since a young age, and have read many books so like to think I have a fairly good grasp on the game. However, no matter how hard I try, I can't seem to turn a solid profit at these stakes. Books by Phil Gordon and various online articles would lead me to believe that a good poker player can crush these sorts of stakes, by employing a tight/aggressive strategy, but I have had no such success. I largely discount bluffing at these stakes and attempt to value bet my hands, but from the amount I miss the flop despite having premium starting hands, I turn over very little profit. Could I grab some advice on any of the issues I've raised, and let me know what your strategy is for these types of games.
Thanks!
