SB: $27.86 (111.4 bb)
BB: $36.81 (147.2 bb)
UTG: $33.28 (133.1 bb)
MP: $16 (64 bb)
CO: $25 (100 bb)
Hero (BTN): $25.25 (101 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with A J
2 folds, CO raises to $0.85, Hero calls $0.85, 2 folds

Flop: ($2.05) J 2 T (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $1.20, CO calls $1.20

Turn: ($4.45) 6 (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $2.70, CO calls $2.70

River: ($9.85) 5 (2 players)
CO checks, Hero bets $5.80, CO raises to $20.25 and is all-in, Hero??

Villain is 24/18 over 33 hands so there is not much we know about him. I was pretty convinced i have the best hand here but then again who bluffs this way? It is bad to check the river right?

I don't think there are weaker hands that would call 3 barrels. KJ is cbetting flop, mayby QJ also. So, basically you check back or bet / call if you think he is capable of bluffing hand like KQ. I personally prefer to check back, as I don't think he would be that aggressive vs. unknown on board that hits your range way better.

It's a very easy bet on the river. I also like the sizings, you could bet even bigger on the turn and riv. Thin value bets are the way to exploit capped ranges.
The XC XC XRAI line as pfr happens so rarely that doesn't worth to giveup the river vbets just because once in a lifetime you will face to a river checkjam.
In this situation I would just take my whole river range and defend accordingly. In practive I would fold a bit more and definitely take a note. I would call JT+ at first.

It is a very strange river push, as no draws complete. The only possible hands that beat us are 2P or sets.
CO's open size is a bit big. Hard spot...

I'd be tempted to call and see about catching AK/AQ/KQ because it's such a weird line that makes no sense. Is he going to x/c JJ/TT/22/JT on the flop AND turn? Then again, why doesn't he cbet AQ?

Bizarre. We only beat a bluff, but it's difficult to put him on a value hand.

I would personally tend to fold R - this is super wierd line I can´t remember when I saw it. I usually trust to these strange lines and also we will have many better hands to defend.

Not sure about valuebeting R in general I don´t expect average player will be able to defend enough vs 3 barel after he check flop as PFA. I would probably x/back most of the time or bet very small if I would know that it doesn´t induce him to bluff.

I don´t expect raise too often but also call with worse here but don´t know how much people bluff catching in these spots on NL25 on stars.

I can't see much worse hands calling our river bet, so I don't think that checking back is bad, but I like betting for a thin value. When he decided to raise, it's a weird spot. I think I would fold because I just don't see them bluffing like that very often.

It was really a tough spot for me and i tank-folded. I think that the thin value bet OTR is good though. Thank you everyone!

It's ultra thin. What do you expect to bet 2barrels and call 3rd by you? I would check back otr, i'm fine with 2streets of value against reg.

Yes, bet/folding seems fine. The hand sample is too small, but still villain may play passively TPGK.

should be fine to valuebet & bet fold based on the fact we don't expect him to be capable of turning a made hand into a bluff and cbet KQ
