The blocking bet is an "advanced" move made when you are out of position and wish to see either a showdown or a river card cheaply. Making long story short, we avoid being bluffed.

No worse hands will call our blocking bet.

Mate, hero has folded 3rd flush he could have been easily bluffed with nothing on that particular board, valuebetting seems no longer to be of the essence

I think x/c or betting the turn are both fine, however I prefer betting b/c when villain checks behind OTF I wouldn't expect him to have any made hands in his range. So OTT he can have some Qx and draws IMO. If he misses w/ draws OTR he never pays and additional bet OTR unless he bluffs and we x/c to induce.

If we check OTT he is only betting Qx, better FD's and some bluffs (this is good card for a delayed c-bet IMO). However, I think we would have to be prepared to bluff catch sometimes (depending on sizing etc) OTR if it bricks if we take this line.

As played, I think we should bet/fold OTR to get value from Qx specifically. If we check to villain on the river he just checks behind with worse. If we bet I think he only raises us with better.

What Qx are calling on that board on the river.

Might get a crying call from AQ/KQ with no If we size on the smaller side. Or do you think that's a bit optimistic ?

I think it is a lot optimistic. Even on nl 20.
