When he leads river for potsize I felt like "he surely has JT, I should fold" Then I figured he might play like that with a set even though I thought he would probably raise turn (or flop) with it. In the end I made the call and took a note. After all, if he has all the worse sets in his range it would make sense for me even to raise, but I actually think he does not. He wants to play for stacks with a set so he raises turn, also because of the flush draw and possible straight draws. So what range can I give him after his river bet? Do you think I could even raise the river?
Side question:
a) what would hero do with JJ and TT, blocking many of villain´s straight combos?
b) I wonder whether villain was (in his mind) valuebetting or bluffing?
BTW, he had QTo. ![]()
