Everyone else at the table fairly tight so far except for BB.

PokerStars - $0.10 NL (6 max) - Holdem - 6 players
Hand converted by PokerTracker 4

SB: $10.95 (VPIP: 5.88, PFR: 3.92, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 52)
BB: $6.22 (VPIP: 55.56, PFR: 16.67, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 18)
UTG: $15.54 (VPIP: 22.45, PFR: 14.97, 3Bet Preflop: 10.42, Hands: 153)
Hero (MP): $8.48
CO: $29.28 (VPIP: 17.24, PFR: 12.07, 3Bet Preflop: 6.52, Hands: 118)
BTN: $10.17 (VPIP: 21.82, PFR: 20.00, 3Bet Preflop: 10.53, Hands: 58)

SB posts SB $0.05, BB posts BB $0.10

Pre Flop: (pot: $0.15) Hero has T♣ T♥

fold, Hero raises to $0.30, CO calls $0.30, BTN calls $0.30, fold, BB calls $0.20

Flop: ($1.25, 4 players) 8♥ A♦ 6♥
BB checks, Hero bets $0.89, CO calls $0.89, fold, fold

Turn: ($3.03, 2 players) T♦
Hero checks, CO checks

River: ($3.03, 2 players) 2♠
Hero bets $1.44, CO calls $1.44

Hero shows T♣ T♥ (Three of a Kind, Tens)
(Pre 67%, Flop 15%, Turn 100%)
CO mucks 4♠ A♠ (One Pair, Aces)
(Pre 33%, Flop 85%, Turn 0%)
Hero wins $5.64

My thinking was that I would cbet post flop representing an :Ax: and if I got raised I would fold. Should I have done this against 3 other opponents out of position or just check/folded? I know more often than not someone will have an :Ax: but still felt the cbet was justified. When the :T hit on the turn and I had isolated CO, my thinking behind the check was to imply that my previous bet had been a bluff, hoping that villian would then bet himself. When he checked behind me, I bet 75% for value on the river.

Anyone's thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Bet turn , theres A and two flush draws out there that could call , and i would bet a little bit bigger on river around 1.6-2$

And on turn also we want build pot, and dont want to let him draw for free.

I'm not sure if it's good to cbet flop vs multiple opponents. We have to bet turn to protect our hand.

Thanks guys. Yea I thought that about the cbet on the flop la55i. What you both said about betting the turn makes so much sense. Don't know why I played it like I did. I'm such a fish! Haha!

Very bad cbet mw on this board, x/f on the flop.

As played, you must bet OTT. Is our plan to x/r turn? If it is then it's a bad plan, he will fold almost all Ax and continue with some draws, which would call anyway if you bet and with such line you actually tell your opponent that you have a monster, so it's easier for him to make less mistakes, when your range is face up.

As played, bet around 2-2,3$ OTR.

Yea as I said before, I thought I got lucky on the flop cbet, plays like that will cost me more often than not. Yea, that was the plan on the turn 😩, I can see now why I have to be betting there! Thanks again!

The thing is, you have a value hand there, but not strong enough to bet into 2 people. So i would check, sometimes they check behind. But the CO callt, so at least he has Ax or draws, so bet you valuehand. Always bet your valuehand. You make money by betting your valuehands!!!! :f_thumbsup:

I've posted alot of similar hands there and the suggestion was always to check the flop, so I agree with checking the flop. We don't have a value hand multy-way and we don't have much fold equity, either. So, check/folding would be the best most often.

Chicking flop is right as we cannot make better hands fold.Betting turn is vital for your win rate. You have the best hand most of the time and you have to build the pot and make villain pay.

why?

I am cbeting this. THis is similar to this hand, except that there is fd.

The reason - there are hands which high high equity vs our hand like KQ, QJ which most likely will fold which is good for us. Of course our hand is very weak in 3way pot, but in the example hand it was even 4way pot.

I put CO on range:

and see that he hit top pair or FD not very often and with other hands he will not be able to play easily.

BB range

still has top pair + not too often. Just not sure now how to think with both players. Sum the probabilieties? But still its about 30-40 % summed up. Other they will fold or call with weaker hands and draws.

We will take pot decent amount of time I guess. After we get called - in multiway if not hit - x/f , because then more likely they have Ax and draws when betting. I mean in multiway its very high chance that they hit when not give up flop.

Nothingis folding that much on Axx board. Many players attack this board 100% of the time and many ilke to call for that particular reason.

Check-fold > Bet > Check-call on the flop.

But betting is not hopeless, and obviously you don't bet to make better hands fold, or even worse hands call. You bet to possibly take it down right away or magically hit your 2-outer. You want to know something about the button (preferably he is weak-tight) to do this.

Check/fold or check/call flop. As played, you are doing the exact opposite thing you should do - you improve your hand to set, and you check?? There you should be betting and getting value from worse hands.

Even as played, bigger bet on river. Now you lost tons of value.

Also, remember to buy max buy-in before flop.

What is the rationale for check-calling? There are several threads on the same theme where 100% of the posting coaches say check-call is the worst option in comparable spots. Bluff catching/floating OOP 3-handed?

My only reasons for that would be, that we could still be ahead and take one bullet, as it's quite rare that these guys are firing 2 bluffs after multiway flop.

Okay, I can accept the qualitative reasoning, we probably just don't agree on the numbers:)
I'd rather bet, primarily to get position. It costs the same, but the rest of the hand is much easier if the player behind folds (if he doesn't, we are done).
