UTG: $14.40 (72 bb)
MP: $19.20 (96 bb)

BTN: $21.50 (107.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is CO with A Q
UTG raises to $0.50, MP folds, Hero calls $0.50, BTN calls $0.50, 2 folds

Flop: ($1.80) 4 Q 2 (3 players)
UTG checks, Hero bets $1.20, BTN raises to $2.40, UTG folds, Hero calls $1.20

Turn: ($6.60) Q (2 players)

Hero ???

No reads on villain. Think flop/turn are pretty standard.

X/f imo. I don't see him raising KQ vs. 2 otf (one of them fish).

And calling a shove? TPTK doesn't do well against a range of sets and combo draws. The only combo draw we're doing really well against is something like A2hh/A5hh.

I think we should value 3bet pre here vs utg fish.

River I think I like donking out. If you check I think you have to fold since we can't really expect him to put a 3rd bet in w KQ or worse, and you only beat imo A5ss/A3ss and random spews. His sizing is bizarre, and I don't see FD barreling paired turn, unless he is quite bad I also rule out boats due to the poor sizing in getting the money in. Even with blocker I think villain has KQ/QJ/QTs a lot more than anything else based on sizing, I think he is checking back river with these fairly often and we punish him more by donking out. Pretty easy fold vs raise in this spot when we donk too.

The pot is $13.20, the villain has around $16 left. Imo it's pretty awkward to donk here. What sizing would you use?

I would raise pre.

On the river he has near psb, if he ships i guess we have to fold. We could also lead otr with maybe 3.5$?

What do u think about turn play?

This is a strange assumption. The last thing I'd put in his range is a strong draw, these either call or raise big. When he minraises he has mostly Qx, rarely sets and very rarely middle pairs. I agree with metza about river donk.

3b pre is far better than calling unless we know for certain he is VERY tight. even if he opens 10% but he sucks post flop 3B > C all day.

river just XC and expect to see a lot of randomness. leading is kinda ugly because we're only extracting from Qx and there's very limited combos of that. would rather lead turn so he can bluffcatch with any random pair he has, but i think prefer bluffcatching myself.

I like the idea to 3b pre vs short stack.
What do you think about betting 3.00 on river ?

Yeah I don't know why I didn't 3bet, I think I just auto-piloted and saw "UTG raise" rather than "UTG raise from weak player". That was a mistake.

What sort of hands do you think we target with a small river bet?

Not entirely sure.. Weaker Qs, Ah2h-Ah3h,Ah5h, 22, 44? I don't like the min-raise. It is like freezing your action. Obviously, villain isn't afraid for the second Q. I may discount the Q and give villain more credit in a mw and give him mostly sets. However, that is just 1 opinion

Missed that info. 3bet pre seems to be a way better option them.

I mde this assumption cause this sizing doest make any sense for any kind of made hand.
Made hands would raise bigger for protection. If he is not protecting, he can have a draw himself.

Yes, if we assume that villain is more recreational ( stacksize), we should do this.
With the call, we give a chance to active players from behind to squeeze, and we will not feel that good.

This is partially true. Some recreational villains like to raise small their strong handscause they do not want to scare you and make you fold. Which is funny, tho. :)

Or let this mwp situation happen, in first place.

Not to mention BU here has a lot, a lot of hands combinations...
This make even these low cards a drawy board to him.
