I did argue position, but only in regards to playing more flops out of it than we need to when we flat.

Yes. But those pots are small pots against a much weaker range. Now you have the best of it postflop, even OOP, and even if bets go in from both of you. (If not, fold is better than calling no?)

I am neutral whether to raise or not (strongly dependent on own skill and villain skill). Just providing qualitative arguments that are missing here.
