When you got to the turn what story are you trying to tell with the call-donk line? That the two improved you (it did but not in a way that can scare an overpair).

You wouldn't call-donk here with JJ or similar either. So even AKo might be confused into calling as the only logical story you are telling is the exact one you hold.

Best to passive this spot and hope he bets very weak again to give you great odds. I think youd have got your draw here for $3 tops. That is $13.10 youd have saved.

Mind you if he makes a serious sized bet just fold. No point chasing a flush oop with poor implieds and huge negative implieds on the Kc.

Final point - and i cant confirm without equilab as im at work - I suspect you didnt have enough equity against the villain's shove range to call the $11.90.

Fold flop in this size is generaly bad.... float 100%..unless he is 17/11 4bet range: 1% type (no more much of them at least @ stars )...

On turn we must create ranges of x/calling in general, x/fold , x/shoving, or in some cases shove donking.... u have to think many variables such us history, perceived image, board texture, size he is using etc..

As played i like ur thinking but u picked wrong leading size and bad turn card...

Personally, I'm not a fan of AQ, even if it's suited. I like the 3bet in this particular spot though, but once he 4bet I would have folded immediately. If that wasn't enough, the huge raise on the turn should have been enough for you to fold, even with your flush draw. In my opinion, you played this hand very poorly.

Yes, turn call was poor. Do not have enough odds.

Folding AQs faced with mini raise in blind war equals huge wastage in the long run.
