$0.36 pot ($0.01 rake)
Final Board: T K J 2 3
SB showed 7 J and won $0.35 ($0.23 net)
BB mucked and lost (-$0.06 net)
Hero mucked 9 9 and lost (-$0.12 net)
BTN mucked and lost (-$0.06 net)

Villain is 41/9 from 54 hands, 1.2 AF.

The hand plays pretty much itself. I am curious if my river call (bluff catch attempt because :Kx: , :Tx: or :Jx: would have bet a long time ago) is correct or not :)

Tx def doesnt bet until river. Jx will also delay until river in 4way pot. Some might even delay some Kx til river. Just don't see a lot of attempts to bluff the river at this sizing at the river in FR in a 4way pot. I'd personally not make the call, without additional info. In a heads up pot I might call. 3way can go either way. 4way, I just fold.

We are multiway. Passive fish can easily have weak Tx,Jx,Kx. I think folding is better but calling 1/4 pot bet is not a big mistake imo.

Of course I'd fold to a bigger bet size (like 1/3 or more) here.

This is a fold. What hands do you beat?

Lower pocket pairs that reached the river and, for some reason, thought they are the best here, given the fact that the hand was checked down.

With Jx and Tx possible, that can play this way, I am not calling.

I don't think it is very bad to call. Of course villain has a lot of Tx,Jx hands here but to call 1/4 pot bet we have to be right 16% of the time. I can see villain doing this with weaker pocket pairs or random A-high sometimes.

Well I have been in similar spots where fish did this with J-high just because no one was interested in the pot. I wouldn't say we will lose almost 100%.

i would say it's 90% for 6 max and 99.99 for 9 max :)

We should be calling stronger bluffcatchers.

Not that much, actually. If we call we should make a note.
