I'd snapcall him, 50% equity vs AQ, AA, QQ and I think the probability for AQ to play like that is slightly higher. If he turns out to be fishy and overplays something then it is even better for you. I don't play fullring though, nits open AQo from there, right?
Why did you minraise flop? I think making it bigger won't affect his calling range that much.

Villain looks super tight. Could he do this with AQ,AK,KhQh? I guess calling should be ok.

btw: Why min x/r?

I've been minraising flopped sets lately if I'm not too concerned about draws. It seems to be acting to induce TPTK / overpairs to re-raise.

I know it's strange but the "info raise" still seems to be a thing in FR. I see it a lot from villains. Monkey see, monkey pretend to do

What will an utg+1 open be here like in fr?
Will a pfr7 open AQ/KQ?
KQ maybe not...

This is an ugly, ugly spot. Villain is tight, the rock so his line presents a strong, maybe nut hand…but I don't like folding sets especially at wet drawy boards. 143 hands isn't enough to determine his PF actions but his shoving presents me like protection against heros min x/r. I wouldn't play my AA and QQ this way, there are only 18.5 BB befeore villains shoving, so with higher sets would try to „milk it“.

Final thought, I'm calling this.

This hand cannot be analyzed from the perspective of "ranges", "stats", etc. Why? Because it is a 5x pot AI OTF that is not part of any realistic game plan.

It is up to you to guess.

I think that when we call preflop and hope to hit a set then we should call.

I'd do the same, but that's me, and I don't give it as "advice". You're on your own.

If you don't wanna call with hit set, why did you call preflop then

Hi, Dadramel,
You can say that again!

It is up to you to guess.

Yes, I agree to a point.
You can tell though that he has certain combos, some of which we crush, some of which we don't
Some of his combos can outdraw us.

So I picked some hands that he could possibly play this way.
Argue if you like about the hands.

Board: Q♣A♥7♥
       Equity     Win     Tie
MP2    23.42%  23.42%   0.00% { AA, QQ-JJ, AJs+, KhQh, AQo-AJo, AdKh, AsKh, AcKh }
MP3    76.58%  76.58%   0.00% { 7d7s }

So like Dadramel says, you can't fold.
You got the hand you hoped for, you have outs for a full house.

I think the point is that if you're folding sets, you need to re-think your entire game.

But like Yohan say, "I don't give advice -- you're on your own."
If losing to AA or QQ is going to tilt you, then read "The Mental Game of Poker" by Jared Tendler and follow the instructions in it.

All the best,
VS

I want someone playing FR to confirm it - UTG+1 with PFR of 7 is opening for just 3%?
If so we are here vs JJ+, AK? What is he bet/pushing?

Not likely, just looked some players with 1k hands, players like 10/7, 12,7, 15,7. All have EP RFI around 7-8%.

Good question but I'm still calling :f_drink:

Hero tanked some timebanked then called. Villain showed AcKc so the minraise induce trigger worked.

I do think a long consideration is still due in this spot. I only called because i had intended to trigger a raise with my raise. Without a draw on the board though i would have folded.

I should have answered this sorry. This villain profile on zoom is postionally deaf. He is playing 9-7 from the entire table and snap folding all other hands.

There are a significant number of this player. Basically only plays PP ak aq and some suited aces / kq.
