Don't even know what to think about this play.
I really don't like raising big pre because at 888 people tend to shove on top of big raise, specially at the early stages of the STT.
I just flat hoping from a good flop.

OTF: I believe I have the best hand but since there are no draws on the boards, just check and hope to hear a bet from some other.

OTT: Almost sure to have the best hand but don't want to give away a free card for someone who is maybe drawing to a flush (since there are 6 players on the hand).

OTR: the flush doesn't come and a 9 hit some of my opponents range, which can have some suited connectors.

Some questions:

  • Is a raise better pre ? Even with what I said about those fun players
  • Is it a good play to lead the flop with a bet ?
  • Is the bet size OTT good ?
  • Is the bet size OTR good?

You are playing against a lot of players and I would like to know where I’m at on the moment when I’m playing out of position with so many players in the hand. So I would lead the flop already for thin value and information and fold if someone is raising on us.

Cheers,

I agree that it is not the best hand to raise preflop: if somebody calls you don't have any other option other than raise/call/fold AI if you pair the Ace coz of the pot odds and you don't want to call a shove preflop with that hand again.
I agree with SKD1987 as the postflop

I would also lead on the flop.
