the fish had just lost a big pot not too long ago and started playing slightly
looser than usual

On the flop should I play pot control or protection?

I f he reraises me on the flop should I call?

i would 3 bet min raise as you are ahead of his range preflop

bet fold flop

not sure if i would push preflop,what do you think.

Sorry, but your line does not make any sense. Why do you raise on the flop, but check behind the turn? If you want to protect and therefore raise the flop you should bet the turn and check behind nearly any river.

but: I don't like to raise on the flop, I think it's too thin. I just go for pot control and call him on the flop and prob. on the turn. I would call a riverbet on a blank with the read, that he bluffs frequently. If not, just fold and wait for a better spot.
