Hey guys, i wrote a simple app in C# to display all the w34z3l Ranges using radio buttons. I dont know what are the rules here for sharing a .exe file, so im not sharing a link before a mod or admin agrees, also a w34z3l's permission would be great. I plan on maybe adding some more features, so far it only displays Open Raises and 3bet/Call Ranges.

Hi, xavez0,
Your app sounds way cool.
To get permission to post it, you'll need to open a customer support ticket (go to bottom of that page and click the + sign beside "Open a new ticket") and give them all the details you can -- it might help to provide them a link where they can review your app.
They will be able to tell you what the rules are.

Thanks Vorpal, ill do that later today. Btw i received some friend requests, and one got lost somehow, so whoever sent me a friend request that was not accepted yet, or maybe declined, just send it again!
Edit: As i told the guys who pm'd me: im having some trouble here, Windows Defender is detecting my app as a Trojan. As soon as i download it from my Google Drive, it gets deleted. Funny stuff as the app was written in Microsoft's own Visual Studio. Then I installed Avast and Windows Defender got disabled, and now i can download it with no problem. But now im really afraid to share it/send for ps approval, and get myself into trouble for false positives.
If anyone here is a programmer that could help me with this issue, please send me a pm, people are showing interest. Thanks!
Hey there, I got question about the 'Walkthrough' series. It seems there is discrepancy between cold calling ranges you give in the video named "Prepare for takeoff" and 3bet ranges you give in video named "You raise, I 3-bet". Mostly this has something to do with hands like AQs and JJ. So how exactly your preflop default ranges set up ?
Also it seems we are folding 98s hand on BB vs. CO. Is it on purpose ? If not should we be more likely cold calling or 3beting this on default ?
Similar story regarding SB vs BTN ranges. Based on those two vids it should be fold for 66.
Another discrepancy goes for BB vs BTN ranges. Hands like 22, 67s, J7s, T7s, 97s and TT are both in cold call and 3bet ranges.

From what I remember of this series, he explained that some hands are in both in order to mix up our play a bit, to become less readable.

Just got silver status so I can watch these vids and learn - thanks for the time and effort that went into producing this content!
So I know I'm somewhat behind but I thought I'd do the homework anyway as I'm learning!
Week one homework;
There is all the ranges put into equilab for reference. I also did the 3bet ones before I watched the 3bet video as they were in the initial post.
My initial BRM plan is this:
Staring funds: $70 and play NL2.
Move up at $150, down at $100
Move up at $300, down at $200
Move up at $1000, down at $650
Move up at $2000, down at $1250
I'm aware this is slightly conservative on the lower end but that's mainly because I'm a new player so I want to make sure I'm ready to move up not just jumping there as soon as I have the bankroll. Right now though I'm probably a long way away from moving up so I'm just focuses on learning to play well and not worrying too much about the money.
I read about the risk of ruin but as I've only just got PT4 to track my hands it's not possible for me to calculate mine off any statistics.
Going to try and play some hands this week to implement these range guidelines and see how it goes. Although I might tighten them up a little to start with, especially when out of position to avoid tricky post flop decisions.

Looking good!
Conservative and tight is good. Just don't stay at lower limits too long.
Lately I've taken to playing 100 - 150 hands of the next level on Friday nights.
I don't get too frisky, and I don't get too aggressive -- just solid, tight poker, and pretty much by-the-charts style just to get a feel for what the limit is like. I stop if I don't like the table.

As an extension to my homework I made myself a spreadsheet to incorporate the ranges into easy t see interactive buttons as I found equilab a bit clunky to use.
It's probably not as comprehensive as alleen86's but should be easier to use as a reference than equilab - here's how it ended up looking!
