Is there a call OTF?

4 players (stacks):
SB ($7.81)
BB ($2.59)
Hero (CO) ($17.36)
BTN ($6.65)
Blinds: $0.02/$0.05

Pre-flop: ($0.07, 4 players) Hero is CO: T:h, A:h, 6:d, A:c
Hero raises to $0.15, BTN raises to $0.52, SB calls $0.5, BB folds, Hero raises to $2.05, BTN calls $1.53, SB folds

Flop: J:s, T:s, 2:s ($4.67, 2 players)
Hero checks, BTN raises to $4.6 (All-in), Hero ?

These spots are simulated relatively easily with something like propokertools, giving up aggression when spr < 1 here I am not sure about, stacking off ranges are potentially going to be top pair and some overs for villain and when you check you give him the chance of having fold equity.

I pot GII here, before looking at any calculations, I doubt he has a flush here often even though you don't block any spades.

Player tendencies definitely have a factor here, SPR being so low we can assume any flush stacks off here but the likelyhood of a reg having a flush must be lower than a fish considering there 4-bet calling range is a bit stronger with only high suits in his/her hand.

now you should fold in my opinion; you are dead vs flushes and you are hoping to flip vs the rest but if you push on the flop you might fold out reasonable equity (KQJ, QJT, QT9...) he calls any flush, set (unlikely due to pf action) which hurts but any folding out good equity is a good result.

it is not that often your opp flops a flush; you can count the combination but it gets tricky since he is not 3b/calling 100% of his hands so it might get skewed but its fun to break it down. on the top of my head the amount of flopping a flush is about 1% (counting all card combos) so here is slightly higher. this is a risk I would take and push. Also pushing prevents you from being bluffed. In villains shoes I shove here every time when its checked to me by the PFR; Why would he start getting tricky w/ SPR <1. I guess you would push a flush 100% of the time since you dont want to offer a free card..

but please don't take my word for it may very well be wrong

Either shove or call. Folding would be a mistake. Against passive ones I would shove, against aggressive ones I would check-call.

The idea in 4betting Aces is to create SPR 1, where you can stack of on ANY flop against one player and it is +EV in the long run. Opponent can't exploit the fact he knows you have AAxx with that SPR even when you get it in on any flop.

If you start to check-fold missed flops, then you will make a lot of -EV folds compared to good folds.

I would not autobshove w nfd every time. Im not afraid of giving free cards to JT/sets coz those hands shove for protection after my check for sure

I guess I play this spot very player dependant.. against unknown though, I just don't like going with this after 4betting pre.. kinda turns my hand face up even if the player doesn't think much. Without the As in my hand I think I actually just check/fold as a default, with it, I probably pot it as I would if I had the nut flush.

WHen I know that with AAxx I will get the flop SPR <1 (and here HU as well) , I decide PREFLOP that I will get it in on any flop, I dont really look at flops so much because they could have whatever you know, flopping a flush still only happens around 1-2% of the time so that is still pretty rare and if he has that well good on him.

Actually there was an article made by Ph33rox on his blog, when he calculated with pokrjuice that if the board is mono and u dont have a blocker, HHL (hi hi low) u have to fold- provided your opponent doesnt exploit u. this is the case here. So fold. if it was J23 mono, then I'd shove

That calculation is based on some assumptions. Every opponent is a bit different, and some are a lot different than others. I wouldn't say that you HAVE to fold. Ph33rox assumed that opponent stacks off with 2 pairs+, and 1 pair+gs. So he assumes that opponent doesn't shove there Jxxx type of hands or wraps. And in his example the SPR was 1,22 and the EV of a shove was either -4,5bb or -2bb. In here the pot is smaller (higher EV with shove) and if we assume that opponent shoves there with Jxxx/Txxx and wraps (or even air) the call is definitely +EV.

Yeah, SPR matters, so its boderline but get it in.
