Hey guys could someone help me with this hand please. I notice BB is a player who I see calls alot pre when given good pot odds so hence my set mine. I CR the flop as I think its a dry board that villains rarely connect with and try to bluff them off. XC turn as I figure villain could be doing this with any straight draws and pocket pairs. Fold river for obvious reasons. Criticism and opinions please, I will be most grateful :f_drink:

When he calls on the flop his range is most likely JJ-22,A5s,65s,32s which by the turn has 72% equity against your 77's. So I think that folding the turn is fine considering the action on the flop, unless you belive he will bluff a lot in this spot.

Intuitively you would think that it is an easy call on the the turn since you have an overpair, but I'm not so sure about that (the 3c is a really bad card for you). Maybe someone could help me further with my analysis.

You say you called the turn since you thought he could hold any pocket pair and some draws. But honestly what pocket pairs worse then yours do you beat? And what draws could he have called the flop with that hasn't you beaten already? I really don't think he would have called on the flop with some strange runner runner combination.

Keep posting your hands, they are interesting to analyse. Also I could recommend Pokerstove. It is a great program to play around with ranges and will build your intuition for when you are ahead or behind in a hand and when to justify calling or not.
