Hi

I am going to give it a try in NL 6-max cash game, but i dont know where to start. I have read the Poker Basics in Poker Strategy Guide, and in process in the No Limit section.

Is there any video series you can recommend?

And do you have any thing else you can suggest to learn fast in the early stage in micros?

Hi, imty103
Welcome to PokerStrategy.com!

I suggest you start by taking advantage of one of the free money offers.

Then start at the lowest limits -- usually NL 2 (so-called because the buy-in of 100 big blinds = $2.00)
Playing in € or £ is OK too -- but bear in mind that $ are smaller.

Also, start with one table. In each hand identify your position, and compare you hand against the starting hands charts. Do this from memory as much as possible.

Follow the chart. Lots of juicy-looking hands are only playable from later position.
If you get called -- follow the post-flop suggestions -- again from memory wherever possible -- until you can play without the charts.

At this point you're learning, not playing.

When you've got the basics down, read some more advanced articles.

I'll leave the suggestions of videos to other responders.

Best of luck,
VS

I made a quite extensive post about that here: https://forums.pokerstrategy.com/forum/thread.php?postid=2474139

There are a lot of links to different video series that are helpful for beginners :)

With you having silver membership I would recommend
W34z3l's Walkthrough

That is what I started with. Bit older now but a good start I think.

I have already an account at Pokerstars, but have read that I do not get any advantage out of it on Pokerstrategy, so I'll try a new poker room of .
