Strange hand, due tu the odds given I decided to call 3bet with my 78s. I hit kind of a dream flop for my hand; but then I could not really assess my equity and decide to fold.
My guess was I have decent equity vs MP on that flop but not so much vs BB. Is fold ok?
Unfortunately not so much infos about villains - let's assume standard ppl NL5.

Poker Stars $0.02/$0.05 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

BTN: $4.33
SB: $8.34
BB: $8.21
Hero (UTG): $5.19
MP: $7.84
CO: $1.68

Pre Flop: ($0.07) Hero is UTG with 7♠ 8♠
Hero raises to $0.15, MP raises to $0.45, 1 fold, BTN calls $0.45, 1 fold, BB calls $0.40, Hero calls $0.30

Flop: ($1.82) 5♦ 6♣ 8♦ (4 players)
BB checks, Hero checks, MP bets $1.30, BTN folds, BB raises to $2.75, Hero folds, MP raises to $7.39 all in, BB calls $4.64

Turn: ($16.60) 7♣ (2 players - 1 is all in)

River: ($16.60) 9♣ (2 players - 1 is all in)

Spoiler

Final Pot: $16.60
BB shows Qd 7d (a straight, Five to Nine)
MP shows Kd Ks (a straight, Five to Nine)
BB wins $7.96
MP wins $7.95
(Rake: $0.69)

Good fold. You don't have enough equity with your draw.

Certainly you are behind on the flop with your TP and open-ended straight draw against raise and all in at the same, commandable fold

PF is ok, F is ok. You said it is a dream flop. I don't know what 'exactly' you mean by that, but for me the term "dream" is more like "perfect". And this flop is far from perfect for us. There are TONS of better flops and that's something to keep in mind while deciding what our play here is. WP imho.

Yeah probably overrated; dream would had been 5s 6s , with flush draw here I do think I go broke though.

Well played. We can definitely call this PF. OTF we have to fold. Against us stand overpairs, flush draws, straight, sets and so on.

So, the action UTG open => MP 3B vs UTG (that is actaully pretty strong move - JJ+,AQs+,AKo) BTN CC 3b from MP vs UTG (so, he probably QQ-99,AK) and BB CC (QQ-44,AKs,AQo+). So, we called OOP vs PFA and than fold. Equilab tells about 19% equity vs those ranges. Pot ods 16%. So this is slightly +EV situation.

78s is the hand we want to play MW right? As you named ranges I think that´s exactly what we want them to hold, don´t we? When we hit we win big pot, when we don´t hit we leave it.

A "dream flop" with suited connectors is actually one without 2-flushes and a nut straight draw. Flopping a small flush, or the idiot end of a straight is "a dream" only if you are short stacked. The morale is that you cannot make money with a to everyone obvious mediocre hand, because if they come in for big money, you are beaten (e.g. by A♥:8♥: here), or at best dominated in some way or another (e.g. by T♦:9♦: here).

The flop fold is good (and easy).
