How to improve in multitabling?

Hi, cant help you about multitabling, am also interested to know, cause i also have problems with more than 3 spin &go´s tables, although I guess its even more difficult than Mtt´s.

Dont worry about cashouts in 888, although it may last up to 5 days but once they did also the same or next day.

Spin & Go's are the pokerstars version (twister on iPoker - not sure what they are called on 888) of a 3 seat jackpot sit and go. Winner takes all (except in the highest multiple games, where all 3 players get a prize). Prize pool is determined at random. Most of the time it will be two times the buy in, with the excess (that isn't rake) going into the pot to pay for bigger prizes. Prizes can be anything up to $1m (the million was won twice in the last week at Pokerstars).

I wanna start out with saying that I only play cash games, but I think the same theory applies to MTT/SnG.

It is all about attention, so remove any sources of distractions(YouTube, Music, TV, family/gf/bf or whatever it might be).

But I think the most important thing when multi-tabling is to gradually increase the amount of tables.
So if you are comfortable with 2 tables, try to open a 3rd(or even a 4th) cash game and sit out whenever it get stressful.
Once this is easy, swap a cash game for another MTT/SnG.

I find it helpful to use the keyboard shortcuts, have tables tiled and using a HUD. This way you need less time/table.

I have the same problem. The major problem for me is to keep track in which phase I'm in at each table. I run 2 screens and try to arrange the tables so I'm in later phase on the right side and early to the left. It all works well with exception for Svenska Spel where the swap position of tables randomly.

thanks for the links, I'll have a look.

I just tried playing 5 tables (5$ and 3$ SnGs). It kind of worked (won about 40$ with a buyin of 19$) but it feels kind of stressful. I also recorded my session to check out later if I did any major mistakes. I'm not really used to hotkeys. I use F5 to fold regulary but everything else I do with the mouse so far. Sp yeah, I guess gradually increasing the amount of tables is good advice. Maybe I'll try six tomorrow.

That seems a bit contradicting. If you have issues focusing on 3 tables, it is not going to get easier with 5?
I am glad you won some money, but I do not think that it is sustainable. Poker is a sport of endurance!
Stay with 3-4 tables until you are confident you are making the right decisions, on all tables and on every level.

Recording your sessions is a great idea. I will definitely try that in the future!
