this video is awesome - thx for it mr. moshman - indeed for me is stacking (i learned to stack thanking to your previous videos) a huge "less-tilt" factor that i additional combine with non-image layouts :D
anyway... 30 tables seem such a huge amount... i will be happy to come to 12 tables safely :)
    greetings NVKS

#4 IvicaIliev77: Thanks, and looking forward to having you on the coaching tomorrow!

#5 Silverstrep: Very welcome, glad you enjoyed and I'm making you an honorary Mosh :)

#8: Dubas77: You mean what key is assigned to what action?

    #9 Ribpoker: Hahaha, love it.

    #10 eeeeeeee25: Wish I understood that!

#11 Dubas77: I believe it's part of every Stars configuration, just in a different spot for some themes.

Look for a green triangle and I'm pretty sure it will be there somewhere at the top of your tables.

    #12 Dubas77: I should've read one comment further before typing that :D

#13 NijeVaznoKoSam: Thanks! Definitely the right approach to take things in steps, whatever number you want to achieve (within reason), you can get there :)

    #14 Evandrohenn: Thanks, appreciate that!

Hm, it's very interesting, how can 40-table session be analyzed: I don't see even what has Hero done, fold, call, all-in or what.
  • CollinMoshman

    #19

#17 Chaparrito77: Here are some of the specs of my machine, a good SSD is highly recommended :)

17.3" Full HD 1920x1080 LED-Backlit Display Laptop w/Mini DisplayPort, HDMI, USB 3.0, Illuminated Keyboard, Li-Ion Battery, Universal AC Power Adapter - Original Metallic black

    1 x Processor Intel® Core™ i7-4800MQ Mobile Processor (4x 2.7GHz/6MB L3 Cache)

    1 x Memory 16GB [8GB x 2] 1600MHz DDR3 SO-DIMM Laptop Memory - Corsair or Major Brand

    1 x Video Card NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M 4GB GDDR5 Video w/ NVIDIA Optimus [CZ-27]

1 x Primary Hard Drive 240 GB Corsair Force GS SSD - Dual 240GB Drives (480GB Capacity) - RAID 0 High Performance

#18 Ixdon: Unfortunately it's impossible to see each action when using hotkeys and playing many tables, so the analysis is on the layout, process, and decision-making.
  • dubas77

    #20

yes, how many different actions are you using and what keys do you have assigned for all of them.

btw: nice machine you have there. gotta need all that horsepower for proper holdem experience. what frame rates are you getting? :)
  • CollinMoshman

    #21

#20 Dubas77: Actually it looks like I c+p'd the specs from Katie's machine (I play on a desktop), but her laptop is great and can easily handle her MMT'ing.

For hotkeys the exact assignments aren't too important so long as you have all the actions assigned and they're easy to reach. But if you come to a Wednesday coaching and ask, I'm happy to pull up the exact configuration I have and you can screenshot it :)

I tried 25tabling in stack (usually I tille 16) and after a while I had a headache and my eyes were in sore too. Is it the matter of getting Used to mtt in stack or it is not for everybody? What do you think
  • CollinMoshman

    #25

#22 Bobstarr: Great, glad you enjoyed!

    #23 Barte86: Grazie!

#24 Pelbonek: Yes I'm pretty sure you'll get used to it, everything is larger and easier to see, so I would give it another try ... maybe breaking it down into 16 stacked tables first and then building up.
  • Gavron23

    #26

    Hi Collin,
I have always played tiled tables so far.
I am not sure if i want to try playing stacked, whether i should try using just one stack or like 2-4 stacks with less table depth?
  • Regularproducer

    #27

Instead of mouse i really recommend using pen&touch tablet. Hand is not designed for Mouse naturaly, but with pen you will save your and.
Just my point. I had that problems when i was working with mouse but since i use pen&touch tablet everything is ok and also I am left-handed :)
    Great video!!!

    Collin,
nice video, got couple of questions. 1. When I have "registered in tournaments " window open (to keep track of number of torneys open) if I go bust on any table this window pops up on top, and I have to click on the table that requires action (instead of hotkey). Any solutions to this?
    2. Do u recommend puting away the high ev/icm spots away, like tables on the bubble, HU, final mtt tables etc.? Ty.
  • CollinMoshman

    #29

#26 Gavron23: I much prefer one stack, because then there is almost no possibility of applying hotkey to wrong table, or even worse, having to actually watch an allin runout :) But try both and see which one you prefer.

#27 Regularproducer: Thanks! So you play on a table and use a pen, and are able to mass multi-table this way?

I definitely agree about not clicking much, but with keyboard or gamepad hotkeys and one stacked pile, it's rare you have to use a mouse that way also.
  • CollinMoshman

    #30

#28 Biogas: Thanks and nice questions.

    1. I used to keep the reg'd in tournies window open, but stopped because of both the problem you mention, and because I found it slightly tilting to be shown every time I busted a table. Now I go more by feel, and then sometimes check by left-clicking the green triangle which tells you how many tables you have up. There's also an AHK script that can tell you this info.

    2. No. Another good question and something I used to do, but I found I was focusing on these too much, sweating allins, etc. So it's very rare now that I pull aside any table for any reason, except occasionally if I'm extremely deep in an MTT and the equity is for much more than all other tables combined.

    great vid!

    couple of q's

How do you set up your screen when you are playing multiple sites? do you stack stars then have the other sites next to it so you can use a mouse or do you have programs to stack all the games?
  • CollinMoshman

    #33

    #31 Sw33z: Glad you enjoyed!

#32 Jmackenzie: Thanks and good Q on multiple sites. Right now I'm just playing on Stars but I believe there are programs that allow stacked MMT'ing across sites with common hotkeys. Check out UPTO, I believe it can handle a lot of different sites. Gl!

    Hey Colin,

Great stuff! Just one question. How are you treating your FT's - do they enjoy any special treatment by you so you put them aside to watch more closely, or you dont care and they are just part of your one stack-shake? Would appreciate your answer cos just switched from tiled to stack and thats the only issue bothering me ! Cheers!
  • Atalol

    #35

Great job! One of more useful vids here on ps :)
  • CollinMoshman

    #36

#34 Yellowsock: MTTSNG FTs, including 180 FTs, I leave in the pile. The biggest reason for that is because when I used to pull them off, I would overly-focus on them, sweat allins, and otherwise devote non-productive energy to them.

Good question and glad you enjoyed the vid :)

    #35 Atalol: Awesome, thanks!
