Situations like this occur quite often at the low level SnGs. A donkey has somehow accumulated a huge stack and starts limping almost every hand. I get a freeplay with 54s and flop a pair on a board that the donkey has probably missed most of the time. Nevertheless it bets of course the minimum amount. I don't like the idea of folding the hand which is best most the time in this spot. The donkey might have a one card flush draw or just two random cards. Yet I do not feel at ease risking more money with middle pair in an unraised pot against an opponent against whom ICM is not in my favour at all. Would you continue playing the hand on the turn? I do not expect the donkey to stop barreling on the river very often no matter what card might appear. If I call the turn and then fold the river my stack is even more crippled.

Against an average donkey, what would be your prefered line in this spot?

- as played by me?
- bet/fold flop?
- bet/call clop?
- check/raise flop?

All comments are highly appreciated, I oftentimes feel very insecure in such postflop spots and I find it a great opportunity to receive input from better / more experienced players.

Cheers.

Bet/fold or check/call on this flop are the only options for me. If you do something else you are over playing your hand for sure on a wet board like this. I would most likely bet the flop for protection and thin value, but check/calling on his min bet is fine as well I think.
