Against nits, I like to flat call AK PF and play a small pot. Might even fold it PF You won't be paid if you hit your AK, you're just going to get yourself stacked by his sets...

If I do reraise, I do bet the flop, don't give him a free chance to catch his set, he will usually fold to your CBet, whether you do hit on the flop or on the turn. If he do have AQ (unlikely), he might peel one street anyway.

i have even bet quite big for him on river, which i dont like now, given that he prolly wont call with worse anyway and i am beaten most of the times, i can maybe just bet like 20-25$..

I would bet/fold most of the flops, they usually fold their PP facing overcards, call you with TPTK (there are few of them in their UTG range )

so even here, (without that 3bet from me) u only donkbet/fold?? .. if being called.. just b/f turn, and c/f or c/c river depending on betsize?

Preflop: OK. But I'd like to call vs NITs also.
Flop: Check/Call, hoping the villain to bet the turn again.
Turn: I am betting here.
River: Bet.

I am flatting preflop. As played your line is not bad against such a guy because you will not get payout by worse if you play b/b/b.

If he isn't agressive, his raise means he has an ace beaten. There are not so many hands in his range that has an ace beaten, the weaker of them you chop with... so yes I guess fold to his raise would be a good move... doesn't mean I'm disciplined enough to do it, recently got stacked in a similar situation. It happens again and again
