How much is a min-raise?

1. Your raise is the 3bet and you get 4bet from the original raisor
2. You raise to 32 which is 24 more than 8. A min raise would be for 24 more or to 56. So yes, this is the absolute minimum that your oponent could have raised.
They often do this with AA and KK, but you get such good odds that just the posibility of them doing it with QQ makes it a good call preflop and hope to get a pair to go with it.

I would also call here the 4bet from villain and see flop. You have position so you have a huge edge here postflop.

A minraise is a raise for the same amount than the last raise or bet. Example: First raise to 3 BB, so the raise is for 2 BB, because it raises from 1 BB (the big blind) to 3 BB, and the difference is 2 BB. A minraise would be a raise for the same difference (2 BB), to 5 BB.

For convenience sake (and most strategy discussions do so), a raise to the double amount (example above: to 6 BB) is also considered a minraise.

A minraise gives you pot odds 1:3 at least, so it can be called more often than a serious raise. And therefore, a minraise very often is very bad play.

I agree that folding our hand is too much. Call and see the flop.
