Enjoyed a good day today on all fronts. I played a $3 tournament and finished in the money. 728 entries and i managed to finish 16th which paid me out $18.56, was a little disappointed that i didn't get to the final 10 but i will next time.
I then played on both PP and Mansion, received a $10 bonus on both sites, so i only have $30 left to get on PP and $40 left on Mansion.
I am definitely getting alot more points now that i have all but switched to SH games, i tried to play a few full ring games and find that it is really slow now. There are also a lot more weaker players on the SH games, compared to the FR games, but the swings can also be quite dramatic. I started the day off with some nasty beats but managed to put it up to "shit happens" and scraped my way back by being patient and taking advantage of some maniacs.

I ran into you on iPoker yesterday during that hideous freefall I had! You were sitting out though on two of the tables then u left. I wasn't sure if you recognized me and was watching the carnage or you were off making a sandwich. I recovered it all in the next session, it's all in my blog. ♦

It has been a while since i have last updated my poker career. I was a little under the weather for about a week so i decided to just dabble for the last week and a half of the month. Feeling much better now.
Hey Salamiand, that was actually why i didn't see you at the tables, i had got up to eat lunch and didn't feel very well so i just decided not to come back. Hopefully i will see you at the tables.

Well March was definitely a good month over all. My BR saw some definite improvement, as i did fairly well in the MTT's that i played in. I was in the money in 7 of the 17 MTT and finished in the top 10 in 2 of them.
I also am playing exclusively on SR tables and feel quite comfortable on them. Was a little nervous at first but am feeling more and more comfortable with my game. Am a little disappointed that my last month on FR tables i ended on a negative note after starting out so well.
I also managed to get the $100 bonuses completed on both sites.
Will be editing this later on getting kind of tired and i want to put some graphs up and check my BR on my sites.

As u can see there are some definite similarities, as i was pretty much just playing SR games from around the middle of the month.

Have some new goals for the month of Apr:
1) i will achieve platinum status
2)will read all the articles in the platinum strategy
3)post at least 2 hands from the session that i just played
4)win a MTT
5)bring my A game every day, and play at least 500 hands each day i do play.
6)Get my BR to over $1k

It just hit me. I was playing the other day and it finally sunk in. I am on a downswing, and in my opinion the largest one i have had. I knew i was losing on most of my last few sessions, had cut back on my updates as nothing very positive was happening, had stopped getting the judges to look at my hands, i know what i am doing, I was in denial that i could be on a losing streak.

Even before i started to play today i felt good. I had finally moved out of my denial stage and did some checking on the hands i played the other day. Boy was i playing bad, sure i got a few bad beats but for the most part i was just playing bad. I posted about 5 or 6 hands to let the judges check them out and checked them out before i started playing. All signs were pointing to go.
I felt good about my play, and had some good results as well. I played on PP for 500 hands on the .25/.5 SR and hit a little down swing just before i packed up. I did manage to be up a few dollars but i am going to check my hand history and see if i could have tuned it up a bit more. But i would say that i was playing my A game, so i hope that on this particular day that my A game didn't have to many holes to cover up.
I then had lunch and switched to Mansion. Played the .5/1 SR and played about 150 hands with better results. Did help that the 2 players to my right had VPIP over 70, so i did get paid off when i hit my hand, i did take a couple of bad beats as well but i was definitely ahead in the end.

Just finished session for today. Already posted some hands that i would like to be checked on, really hate throwing my money away. I also decided to give some of my advice on some hands. Think i will try and do this a little more often, as it helps me out a little as i have to use some sort of logic, instead of my usual tendency to just throw money into the game and hope i win the hand.
The last four days have been going pretty good. Today was a bit of a rough start but i managed to pull through.
