Did I changed my hand into a bluff or was I protecting my hand?

This hand is puzzling me a bit.
I really did not want him to see any more cards, I mean what card would be a blank ( 234 I guess) ?
I totally put him on a draw by the way (I probably would have called a shove, I also think that's why he did not shove ♦)
