Stacks:
UTG ($4.62) 92bb
UTG+1 Hero ($5) 100bb
CO ($5.76) 115bb
BTN ($5) 100bb
SB ($5) 100bb
BB ($4.63) 93bb
Pre-Flop: (0.07, 6 players) Hero is UTG+1 J♣: J♦:

UTG raises to $0.15, Hero raises to $0.45, CO calls $0.45, 3 folds, UTG folds

Flop: 5♥: 7♣: 6♥: ($1.12, 2 players)
Hero bets $0.60, CO calls $0.60

So I cbet on the flop to protect my hand against a FD as well as to get some value from my overpair.

Turn: 3♣: ($2.32, 2)
Hero bets $1.25, CO calls $1.25

Im not afraid of a possible straight he shouldnt have 4x in his range. I cbet again.

River: K♣: ($4.82, 2)
Hero checks, CO goes all-in $3.46, Hero folds

K arrives and it scared me. Even though he shouldnt be calling 2streets with a K high hand I check and hope to see the showdown. He bets and I dont know what to do. Im like he may be bluffing with a busted heart FD, but he could also have a completed FD. Then I remember what La55i keeps telling us about river bets and I fold.

Final Pot: $8.28
CO wins $8.08 (net +$2.32)
UTG lost $0.15
Hero lost $2.30

I think you played it well like this. Especially if this is an unknown. I doubt he will change his hand in a bluff on the river and the flush came as well.

Hey there!

Is EP opener a weak player who calls too much? I ask it because you are isolating yourself against a stronger range when 3betting. I like a cold call better in this tight aggressive dynamic. And I might call AA, KK and QQ here too, at least 50% of the time just because it looks very strong, when MP 3bets UTG.

As played, folding OTR seems reasonable although I'd still call some % ot the time with QQ+, because his line doesn't make any sense, because FD's should x/r shove OTT some % of the time. And I don't see a Kx here unless he slowplays AhKh, KhQh.

And I might call OTR with pairs that don't contain a heart, because it 's widens opponent's busted FD range for hands like AhJh, AhQh.

Pre you can also call, I quite often play JJ with mixed strategy. But since villain looks more recreational (short stack) I guess 3bet is ok.
Small bet OTR and fold might work but I think this is ok too. We can call sometimes especially when we don't block any flush draws that just missed. But overall I think this hand was played ok.

I think I'd bet bigger OTF but I'd play the same for the other streets
