Super Bowl is here!

It's the most watched annual sports event in the world (well, maybe UEFA CL final is the most watched), and for a reason. Those who are into football (not soccer) know the drill. But those who are not, the game might appear complicated, boring and confusing. That's not a problem, as Kyyberi is here with PokerStrategy's own Super Bowl pregame party! He will give you a quick guide to the rules, teams and how to watch football. And of course there will be coverage of sports betting for Super Bowl. And much much more!

We haven't forgot poker. As there are four quarters in Super Bowl, we have four tournaments. Something for everyone. And the combined winner of all those tournaments wins one-in-a-world PokerStrategy jersey with custom name and number!

There will also be a special promotion where you can win status upgrades!

Time: 3rd of February 2018, Saturday at 19:00 CET
Target Group: Whole PokerStrategy.com community!

All the tournaments are played at Home Games, and have a buy-in of $0.55. Super Bowl is for everyone, so the formats are Holdem, Omaha, Stud H/L and 5-Card Draw.

Even if you don't play the tournaments, join in and have fun with us! This 2 hour stream is packed with good stuff and it's a great way to start up Saturday evening and warm up to Sunday's Super Bowl!

How to join Super Bowl Party HomeGames:

Spoiler

You are invited to join my private poker club for Home Games online.
- If you don't already have it, download the free PokerStars software from HERE
- Open the main poker lobby, then click on the Home Games tab
- Click the 'Join a Poker Club' button
- Enter my Club ID number: 2142793
- Enter my Invitation Code: flyeaglesfly
That's it! Once I've approved your membership request, we'll be ready to start playing Home Games online together.

Rules of promotion:

Spoiler

There will be four tournaments, and each tournament gives points. Top20 in the tournament gets 1-20 points in reversed order. Winner gets 20, second 19 and so on. If there are less than 20 participants in the tournament, winner gets as many points as there are participants.
Promotion winner is based on total points of all four tournaments. In a case of tie, the number of 1st places is a tiebreaker. If neither one has 1st places, then it's the 2nd places and so on. If those are tied, then someone has rigged the internet and we have to roll a dice.

The real question is will the Patriots cover the spread?

Or are the Patriots surfing on their reputation on the markets? :f_drink:

At the moment there is really nice value in the promotion. Status upgrades will be raffled among the players who have participated in all 4 tournaments. And the custom jersey for the winner is a basketball jersey, like this one:

But with custom prints, custom name and number on the back. Delivered to you.

What are you waiting for, hop in!

It was fun for sure. I was lucky in the end with some crazy 5 card hands against Kyyberi HU.
The key hand was FH over FH. Not sure how likely that is in a 5 card draw HU game.

In the epic hand I had 777xx initially and SDK1987 had 888. We both changed two, I got 99 and he got 66. And then the money went in.

Yeah. The cooler of the day.
The Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl in the end. It seems like that was a surprise.

It was. Sort of. Patriots was the favorite, and no one could have thought that Philly wins an offensive shootout.

SDK1987 won the jersey, status upgrades were saved for later use as both qualified participants were mods. :)

About 10000 : 1

How about FH over FH over FH

It was a fun day -- and would have been much more so with a bunch more players.

All the best,
VS
