Preflop My default is folding this Hand. But calling is fine.
I think you should not c/r that Turn... Why did you do this ? You are still Holding a draw. Ask yourself what you want to archive?! Do you expect your Opponent to call Or to fold?

Call preflop is fine.
Shove OTT is pointless. You are not achieving anything when pushing. What better hands did you want to make fold?
When he fires a 2nd barrel, he has sets, overpairs, flash draws, top pairs. None of those will ever fold.

My line: call OTF, call OTT.

Drawing hands with a better kicker.

Exactly kind of hands Villain was showing later on.

I like the shove.

Shove is the best option here, we are repping sets or combodraws, he really have to fold Tx hands and sometimes overpairs.

shoving turn is not the best option here. Shoving flop would be better. If Hero plays the shove here, then on the flop

Why would you shove flop? It will be really big shove. His cbet is quite big, so we can also call sets here and then c/r OTT. Actually c/r flop seems reasonable, but I would more prefer smaller raise than shove.
And if we just call on the flop I think we have to shove on the turn.

I would definitely fold preflop. Regardless the real hand (K8s) that Villain had, his stats rules. His range would definitely beat 98s. Btw, 98s is very hard to play oop vs his range in a 3 bet pot. I would say, fold >>> 4bet > call

As played, I prefer shoving ott than otf if this hand was played on higher stakes. As cr OTT represent a much stronger move, it may sometimes fold draws or over pairs, but you can never fold draws or over pairs otf by shoving. On NL10, I don't think it matters when to shove.

yeah the ratio your stack to the pot on turn makes shove play terrible, it looks exactly what it is. Its a call imo or fold.

I would fold preflop. You can call but try not to be fancy postflop.
As played, call flop and call turn.

Of Course i mean c/r Flop not c/shove

I created a thread yesterday, as I have been leaking cash with suited connectors. But if I've learnt anything through my analysing of hands and studying etc, its that playing suited connectors OOP is very difficult. I therefore agree with the majority here that this should have been a fold pre flop.

OTF I think you made a solid call. Of course we don't get the right pot odds, as we need something like 6:1 to call if we ignore the backdoor flush draw, however we have great implied odds in a 3bet pot :f_thumbsup:

OTT we have the option to check or to donk. I think given that our opponent is showing a lot of strength, donking is not a good option. When we check and he makes the all expected raise, I think calling is the best option. We have a 37% (2.7:1) chance of hitting a flush or a straight and given pot odds of 1.74:1. Again with good implied odds it certainly wouldn't be a bad call.

Given that we don't have much information on our opponent. Seeing a BTN raise against the CO I would put him on a slightly wider range, though leading out again OTF makes me think that he could have an overpair, a set or of course a strong flush draw. I therefore feel that a check raise all-in isn't the best move here. However, if for whatever reason you had a read on this opponent making you feel that he was likely to fold to this bet, then I think long term it could be profitable, but in this instance he made a bad call and lucked out. It happens, thats poker.
