He went all-in after losing a big pot. I thought he was tilted and decided to call. Bad call?

this is close. What kind of range do you give his sqeeze? 99+AQo+ maybe. With the deadmoney you need him to be on tilt to call. usually you will face better hand. I would fold. After losing one hand a raise/shove means nothing. I would like if you range me on tilt. Because my play stays plus ev regardless of the hand before. Work with your concept of tilt.

Seems fine to me. If BB shoves 77+, AJ+ it would be breakeven. Basically BB should be shoving most of time like AJo+, A9s+, KQo+. KJs+, 22+ or so. Probably not being that wide but without nit reads I could not fold AQs with SB likely dead chips.

PS: That breakeven range was for 9max so in 6max it would be perhaps even bit tighter as ICM tax is smaller.

PPS: Use smaller open sizing with these stacks. 2.5BB at max.
