TT he calls vs a big bet OTT. The rest of his hands will have more trouble calling the bigger you bet.

If you think his range is that tight, he is a big NIT I think :) That means the only combos he has that can beat you (and he would call with to smaller size bet) is some flush draws with QQ and AK (max 7 combos) if we dont talk about 4 of the kind possibilities. There are only 3 combos of TT sets that would call any sizing. Thats mean you got to think only about giving him not too good odds on turn to hit his flush on the river. In that case 2/3 pot size should be fine :)

I'm not sure if he would be a nit. We have to remember that MP can flat quite strong hands against UTG open. CO should squeeze with a tight range too. If UTG just calls with many hands here, he will be out of position in a multiway pot with a lot of dominated hands. So it doesn't make that much sense for UTG to call that squeeze with ATs when MP could flat AT-AK and CO squeezes with those hands. KJs and QJs would be awfully dominated also. 88 could be a call because we are slightly deep and get better implieds.

Understand what are you saying mate, all make sence :) However can I ask you what range do you think is optimal to open from UTG, what is optimal to call to a 3bet OOP when you are 100BB deep and 166BB deep? How that ranges look in %?. What is the difference between them in your oppinion?

Wow guys, thanks for all the comments. I just posted this hand to shake the bad runnout off. Didnt expected much of a discussion here.
But I think i played the hand fine on all streets. Turn bet is a value bet and protection bet as well. And I wouldnt mind calling a shove on turn as well, cause I still had equity to turn my hand into a FH.

I think quite solid opening range from UTG on 6max would be around: 55+,ATs+,A5s-A2s,KTs+,QTs+,J9s+,T9s,98s,87s,76s,AJo+,KQo (~14%).
That is my preference but I think someone could consider that nitty. Adding all suited aces would be fine, and maybe ATo. Some tend to open hands like KJo too but I dislike it. So the opening range could be something like 13-16%.

Because UTG opens quite tight, villains shouldn't 3bet the UTG open very light. For example MP or CO vs UTG could flat even AKs with some frequency. That is why when we face a 3bet we should defend with a quite tight range (in my opinion). The defending range should be pockets like 99-QQ and then strong AXs like AKs-ATs. Off-suit hands have the problem with the playability, add being out of position and possibly dominated in the mix and then we should see calling a 3bet with some off-suit AX could be bad. Some could defend KQs too but I think it is quite often dominated.

Being 166bb deep doesn't change that much. You get a bit better implieds for your setmines so we could expand our calling range with some pockets.

But now we have to keep in mind that this was a squeezed pot. If we are talking about these in general, we have to remember that now both MP and CO can beat some of our decent AX hands. If we hit an A with our ATs, we are very likely behind.

My UTG opening range is very similar, around 15%. I understand that people are flatting or raising very strong range vs UTG open. However we have to keep in mind that we generally have to defend (call, 4bet) around 45-50% of our opening range from any possition to a standart 3bet to make ourselves unexploitable. If in that case we defend only 4-5% (4,8% range) of 15%, thats mean in other situations when we are IP we have to defend minimum around 10% (10,2% range) and if we are deep stacked even more. I would not say that sounds very nice. Thats why when we are around 150BB deep or more, I add some strongest suited connectors to my defending range even OOP. I understand that flopped pairs with them could be dominated, but we are not looking just for a pair when calling with them do we? :)

You're totally right didn't see. 6 AM effects :f_p:

Still even so to listen and share with others opinions is no big deal and can be interesting to understand what other players might do or think during a hand without having to get into the stuffs
"like wich stake do you play ? I'm right because i've a huge winrate ?"
Even months or a year of results are only short run on a mathematical side of what long run results can be.
Just my opinion but like i said i'm not a CG player so what do i know hehe ...

Best of Skills & Luck @ Tables,
OldSchoolPapa.

Well to put a simple conclusion to all this I'd say only one thing : if you hate your dealer, stop doing drugs ! ;)
