Maniac, M is good for pre-flop shove/fold decisions, but I normally just think in terms of big blinds assuming there's a standard ante -- adjusting if there's no ante or a very large one.
This week on the coaching ... low-stakes MTT! We're going to pull up a normal speed large-field tourney and look particularly at the post-flop decisions that come up. See you guys there 
Any rough idea why someone could be doing alright in K.O. 9man STTs but not so great in the normal ones?

Your EV is positive, but seems like more hands hold up than they statistically would. You seem to win situations where you´re underdog but that doesn´t mean your a fish. Maybe you jam into better hands and win anyway. You seem to win more hands than "usual".
Ok, let´s take A♥ K♠ as example. Let´s say you jam 100 times with your AK. You get called and look into a pocket pair like TT, JJ, QQ. This is a coinflip, statistically you win this hand in about 50 % of the times. But of this 100 times let´s say you won the flip 80 times. So you run over EV because you have 50 % equity but you won 80 % of the times, so you win more hands than "expected" according to statistics. This doesn´t mean you´re a donk, this just means you´re in an upswing phase at the moment.
