For the majority of it i was thinking Pocket pairs (TT-QQ) maybe weaker Ax hands as he flatted the 3bet.

I didn't really consider him picking up a flush as had been calling the whole way along.

I thought a river bet would only be called by stronger hands so decided to check.

The bet at the end was 65% pot so isn't huge as it seems being all in.

Thoughts?

Can't see many hands he wants to turn into a bluff. His river shove is very strong and I think it gives away a bit his hand.
Against a good player this is definitely not an easy spot. He'll have a wider 3 bet calling range and some more bluffs, but at this stakes I don't see many of those.
He shouldn't be calling that turn without a made hand already has he'll be commited for the river.
Besides, I haven't seen a single turn float as bluff to end up shoving rivers on scare cards when committed for a long time.
You have a good bluffcatcher, not blocking any heart card, but he has some value combos, like AJ (with the A♥: ), some flushes (KQ, KJs, Axs).

I'd like to know what other fokes have to say about checking that turn OOP on a 3bet pot as a pot control move.

Dont level Yourself OTR as almost no one is capable to do this ship as a bluff on NL5. They dont think at this level - this is a scare card so I will turn my weak SDV into bluff to fold his AK or AQ.
Almost always it is for value and he has at least 2pr. AJ, Nut flush and other flushes.

@ zetozinho
I dont think so checking OOP Turn is a good idea as we dont want to give a free card that can villain improve. We have clear vbet OTT so just take it
