Spoiler

$3.33 pot ($0.14 rake)
Final Board: A♥: A♦: 9♣: 6♠: T♠:
UTG showed 7♣: 8♣: and won $3.19 ($1.56 net)
Hero mucked A♣: J♣: and lost (-$1.63 net)

Played very much just calling even after the trip A because with villain coming from UTG i expected him to be having stronger Ax that me in general, but also to be betting KK,QQ. This is why i felt that the 6 then the T made no real difference to the hands i was against. I expected if i lost it would be to a better kicker and if i won it was a pair larger than the 9... Didn't even see the straight.... Am i blind or is this unexpected?

Raise that turn. He has weaker aces than yours and these guys just can't check their Ax here. Its not happening. He's calling a raise on that turn too.
As played, nothing else to do.

You could raise the turn, but your line is fine for sure and is indeed unexpected that he has a straight this time.

Recently been burnt often by trips with 2 on the board and getting beaten by a better kicker. I know it should happen often, but i think the "feeling" is still stuck with me...

Might consider more next time.
