dunno if anyones watching. But half time now and tied up. Unfortunately I'm not to impressed with the nuggets first half. Hope they can pull it together 2nd half or else I'm afraid won't turn out that well :(

they suck and still the game's tied at halftime so that isn't too bad since they're playing @ LA
hoping for a better 2nd half

Yes, I've watched some of the lakers games, they are very good!

I have a dilema: I have been a laker fan since the 80's (Kareem,Magic,Worthy, etc) but I'm not a Kobe fan so I root for the nuggets lol

Chauncey Billups is the man! Go Nuggets!

Traitor!

Go Lakers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah playoffs have been really good this season. I really hate Kobe so im hoping he gets killed in some freak backboard falling on him accident. I have no real reason to hate him and im not sure exactly how it started but i refuse to start liking him (although it pains me to admit that he is awesome).

Hopefully the nuggets will pull through and play Cavs in the final but it looks like Magic are running too hot :( unless they start missing the 3 ball i think they will make it.

Im predicting Lakers to beat Magic in the final but hoping Cavs perform a miracle and then somehow win the championship.

This Laker-Nuggets series imo IS the final. I saw the other teams play and meh...

after last night's game, that didn't look at all like the final we were all hoping to see. denver didn't play at all so I suppose we can say that lakers deserved this win in the end

cheering for magic all the way !! turoglu & pietrus having awesome runs in the playoffs and I thin their team works great as it is (dwight crushing everyone in the paint, pietrus outscoring the entire cavs' bench, turkoglu making tough baskets and lewis shooting from outside/inside all of them combining years of experience.......hope they'll make it)

let's have a wonderful 7 game final

x2

Nuggets defeated themselves, every man was looking out for himself, Smith penetrating vs 4 Lakers, he made a couple...big deal; this doesnt win games.
Carmelo throwing 3 pointers with no rebounders in sight...
Martin throwing that horrible medium range shot over Gasol, rarely hitting...he should be recieving the assist and stuffing it, thats what hes good at.

These guys think they are still playing street b-ball, its as if their goal was to make it to the semis and thats it.

everyone from the cavs wants too much. forced shots over the magics tight defense just don't work. the king is down. bring kobe!
_biggrin:

Well it's official.. NBA finals are LA Lakers vs Orlando Magic

predictions.....

Lakers will win in 6... the magic just aren't prepared for kobe and the laker offence and they have 2 7ft+ players to double Dwight with so it will be tough down the stretch for him.

yes but Dwight is the (super)man

magic in 7 :)

Really nice game, too bad I have to get up in the middle of the night to watch it and even then the online streaming sucks so much sometimes, I've watched it with a spanish commentary and didn't understand a word :).

Anyway, the Cavs weren't even close to winning this game, Orlando kept scoring right from the start and when they went up to two-digit lead they've never gave it up. No answer to Howard, no answer to the 3-pointers, James played badly (as for his standards - no points in the second quarter I think!). Pietrus is probably one of the few guys out there who can effectively shut him down at least for several minutes. And he'll be Magic's answer for Kobe in the finals. If Howard keeps playing like he did tonight, LA will have to double up on him and then one of the other guys is left alone, and each of them can shoot 3 pointers one after the other. Orlando is unbelievabely hard to defend against when they aim well.

My prediction: Orlando wins in 6.

Lakers in 7.

They play as a team and are tougher mentally thanks to leaders Kobe and Phil.
They will rotate vs 3-pointers and give superman a hard time too.

As in poker, its all about the mental strength.

I'm going for Orlando in 7. commercials during the finals are too expensive to finish it off in less than 7 games

if he'll be in good shape, pietrus is able to shut down kobe as he did with lebron in the last game. kobe should be even less difficult as he doesn't play on brute force as lebron did

lakers centers aren't constantly playing at full capacity and fatigue could also keep their performance low. it'll be a strong battle imo
