3-handed for a couple of hands. No particular read.

$0.10 NL - Holdem - 3 players

Hero (SB): 153.9 BB
BB: 174.3 BB (VPIP: 35.29, PFR: 15.15, 3Bet Preflop: 0.00, Hands: 35)
BTN: 138.8 BB (VPIP: 38.10, PFR: 33.33, 3Bet Preflop: 14.29, Hands: 21)

Hero posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has J♦ K♥

BTN raises to 3 BB, Hero raises to 12 BB, fold, BTN calls 9 BB
Questions and thoughts:

Spoiler

I thought I had a good hand. Not good enough to play OOP against too aggressive villains, so I decided to 3bet.

Flop: (25 BB, 2 players) A♥ 5♣ K♣
Hero checks, BTN checks
Questions and thoughts:

Spoiler

Middle pair + ok kicker is a strong hand HU, I guess, but playing it OOP could be hard.
I think I would cbet it IP, but I decided to check/call OOP.

Turn: (25 BB, 2 players) K♠
Hero bets 11.9 BB, BTN raises to 28.8 BB, Hero calls 16.9 BB
Questions and thoughts:

Spoiler

I thought I was probably ahead and cbetted for value. When villain mini raised me, no idea about his range... AX? KX? pp pairs? a draw?

River: (82.6 BB, 2 players) Q♦
Hero checks, BTN bets 98 BB and is all-in, Hero calls 98 BB
Questions and thoughts:

Spoiler

Didn't like this Q. Villain could had AK, QQ (if he had played pre reasonably) or a str8. I'm only ahead of some AX and a complete bluff.

Spoiler

BTN shows 6♣ 7♠ (One Pair, Kings)
(Pre 37%, Flop 11%, Turn 0%)
Hero wins 268.6 BB

I would most likely chipped trips on the turn, but it's not to bad to let keep his range wider with just a call. River is a call as well. Only JT has come and it's not a hand I would raise the turn with.

Call preflop, check flop, check/raise turn

KJo is too strong for turning this hand into 3bet bluff and at the same time KJo is too weak to 3betting for value. Do you have balanced 3betting range in BB position against Button?

On the turn you can just make standard check if you perform first without initiative. Otherwise, as you have initiative, you can realize that your hand is very mediocre in relation to this board. You can be way ahead or way behind. So you also do not need to increase pot on the flop (check).
Villain checks on the flop showing weakness. Hence your check/raise on the turn could be seen as a bluff and he could make a mistake to answer with push with Ax. This way you finish action on the turn and only your opponent stays with tough decision to make while you have no doubt how to proceed further.
