Bet-sizing tips on this spot

Title of thread seems a little bit off, because you have top 2 pair here.
Anyway I would play the hand the same. Only the betsizing on the turn is a little bit high.
I would bet around half pot or villain is a calling station.

you can only win a lot of money when villains actually have something (or run some insane uncalled for bluff for some reason)

There are push bets and pull bets.
Push bets for when you want villain to fold.
Pull bets are when you want villain to call or raise.

Since the turn is quite a brick, maybe a 1/3 pot-sized bet might keep alive his dreams of hitting a flush -- but maybe not.

What is your plan if a spade comes on the river and he shoves?
When you bet large on the turn, do you fold to a check/shove?

Thanks Vorpal. I understand your point. I was really concerned with the fact that I was OOP (and also a little bit because I've been playing lots of big pots against this villain the past few days, and I really didn't want to lose that one). My intention was that with this betsize he would fold enough of his draws and maybe call with worse made hands. If he called the turn and a spade came i'd probably check/call or check/fold to a large bet.

My real question on this play is if it is worth to give him a "cheap" river or, on the long run, is better to protect my made hand, especially out of position. If I was in position I would definetly bet smaller here, hoping for a call.

Well, slowplaying strong hands OOP is not the standard procedure.
What I think is a bit off are the sizings. Flop's quite big.
Qx hands don't call double barrels with the flop size. Even weaker Ax (AT, AJ, if MP calls them vs UTG) can find folds quite easily.
You'd need to have a very aggro image to consider bluff catching here tbh.
