hi,

is this stupid to shove this river? I think it is because there are so many draws that got there on the river.

iPoker - 15/30 NL (3 max) - Holdem - 2 players
Hand converted by Holdem Manager 3

Hero (BB): 430 (14.3 bb)
SB: 1,070 (35.7 bb)

2 players post ante of 5, SB posts 15, Hero posts BB 30

Pre Flop: (pot: 55) Hero has J♠: 5♣:
SB calls 15, Hero checks

Flop: (70, 2 players) 7♦: J♥: 5♥:
Hero bets 49, SB calls 49

Turn: (168, 2 players) 3♦:
Hero bets 117, SB calls 117

River: (402, 2 players) 4♥:
Hero bets 229, SB calls 229

Spoiler

Results: 860 pot (0 rake)
Final Board: 7♦: J♥: 5♥: 3♦: 4♥:

SB shows A♥: 2♥:: (Flush, Ace High)
(Pre 62%, Flop 36%, Turn 27%)

Hero mucks J♠: 5♣:: (Two Pair, Jacks and Fives)
(Pre 38%, Flop 64%, Turn 73%)

SB wins 860

River is a ugly card for you. He could have a flush now, but if you think there are hands you still beat that he will call a shove with it's not bad. Most of the time I would check/fold the river against a decent player.

I think x / r is OTF is clearly better than leading. Maybe you get stacks in already OTF.
As played I still would shove OTR as there`s only a half pot size bet left and we still beat some hands here.
