You can possibly even fold the flop without it being that exploitable the only thing your really bluff catching against is villains air.Maybe the folds a little tight on the flop but i don't think it's a huge mistake considering how 99 plays vs draws/overs and villains value range. The one draw you can put villain on that you do well vs is 98 and your blocking it in a big way.You shouldn't post the results in the op though it makes it hard to give impartial feedback post it later in the thread if needs be.

Against a random villain a fold on flop is decent with in mind you are only beating a flush draw. Not sure he would raise that ether, but turn is a fold for sure and that's the same on the river.

do People fast play trips like this? There’s not many draws but hearts . I think he can have A6 , 6x or some middle pairs under TT and Could be betting like maniac trying to take pot and Not wanting to see an overcard come ,

Edit. Then I hit the spoiler and it’s pure cringe, this villain is something else .I don’t think you made much of a mistake hard to tell he plays so straight up put a note on him

I interpret villains check-raise on the flop being very polarized.
If villain is unknown, a fold on the flop is fine, if you have certain reads on him being aggressive/ maniac I think how you played the hand is also fine.
The river is again very polarized, nothing really changed, it makes sense to call after calling flop and turn (hoping for a bluff catcher)

I would tend to bet-call flop and evaluate. Though as said 99 is blocking some gutshot hands that could make a move. Imo decent amount of players can make flop x-r without Tx+ but they rarely follow it through with second barrel. Though that is more from sng/mtt side. Have not really played holdem cash.

But I would make decision on turn if I want to calldown or not. Line I like least is to call turn and fold blank river as this hand is rarely going to improve.

Flop x-r range should be mainly trips for value range. There is some merit in doing it with 6x or some pockets for equity denial but villain would likely slowdown with those on turn.

Theory wise using 6x that won't block flush draws as triple barrel would likely be fine as it does block some full houses. But that is very unlikely to happen in micros.

And most of those draws were flipping 50/50 against because it's a flush draw with 2 overs. What i mean't by air was like a complete random air ball like j9 or something.Or we possibly also beat all the under pairs like 22-55 and 77-88.Maybe a flop fold is to tight when listing hands that can raise this flop i'm not to sure and because we have position calling is probably the best line. But i agree the turn is likely a fold vs continued aggression definitely fold the river imo.

People at these stakes don't have flop check-raises that fold on later streets to aggression. When they check/raise, they're ready to commit all their chips. Folding flop is obviously exploitable, but I'd fold anyway.
You have so many Tx and better pairs. You also block lots of draws (98s, 97s, J9s, 96s, Q9s).
Btw, you don't have to cbet that flop everytime.

Hello,

After calling the turn, I guess you "have" to call on that river brick.
Without any other reads on the villain, at these limits, we have to fold OTT. It was such a huge bet for that not to be a value bet from villain.

Ya we could have checked the flop aswell and called a decent turn bet looking to evaluate on river and see a river with showdown equity

Calling the flop is ok, we’ve missed this board so often this villain could have overcards.

If I could see how often he raises postflop id have a much better idea of his holding.

When he barrels we can be pretty sure he doesn’t have an air type hand. He has either Tx + or a draw.

Villains betsize on the river is wrong for missed draws. They would only be trying to fold out better draws and so would only need to bet small. This bet is almost pot-size, which screams trips to me.

Your assuming villain knows anything about bet sizing,i still struggle with it myself and i regard myself as semi competent.

I’m not, Im assuming he MIGHT know something about betsizing/reading ranges.

If he does, it’s not a draw. If he doesn’t, it still might not be a draw. Therefore, it’s extremely unlikely that he has a draw.

When exploiting you never know anything about the villain for sure. You just need to assign a likelihood of each possibility so that you can calculate the profitability of the call.

I'm not sure why you think this flop and turn sizing cant be a draw and if it is this is the only sizing left for the river which is all in.I agree it's a fold at some point but i think we can make it on the flop.Simply because were flipping vs most draws and crushed vs villains value range. And the only draw we do good vs is 98s which we block.I think you can largely rule out draws though because not many take tripple barrel bluff lines at these stakes.

I’m find with the fold on the flop too. But I’m not saying I know anything about this villain. I’m just using all the information to guess the likelihood of each holding.
